Why good evening, gaians and gaianettes! Today was quite some day for your favorite Ghetto Queen. I realized some stuff about myself that will remain with me for a lifetime...so I thought what better way to remember those life changing discoveries than writing about them in my journal for all to see! That way you can remind me if I ever forget...you all know how forgetful I can be at times...no? Well let's just pretend you know...kay? mrgreen
So this morning I head out with some family and friends to spend the day on the river...just me and nature...as one...well...it wasn't quite like that but you get the idea...all in all, got a lil sunburn, came face to face with a manattee and almost craped myself, and chowed down on some flamin' hot cheetos! Good fun...but what I really learned today, my friends....is the true beauty and importance of the perfect wedding reception. Confused?
My family was invited to a wedding reception this evening....it was a very tame reception...no dancing...no DJ...nodda. And it really got me thinkin'! What would my perfect reception be like? Well I'll tell ya...the ultimate "goodbye, Ms. saZAM, hello, Mrs. saZAM!" For starters, the food! There's gonna be chicken wings, mashed potatoes with gravy and buttermilk buscuits..YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!! And my cake isn't gonna be some boring white with pretty flowers as decorations. More like pimpin' purple with greens and reds and blues and all that groovy junk. There's gonna be dancin' and games and I'm gonna smash the cake in my hubby's face and everything...*sigh* I can almost picture it now...well..the groom's face is still a bit blurry but still...well that is, IF I ever get married mrgreen
