Chapter 3

After laying down on my bed for a while I fell asleep, after what seemed like a long time my mom came to my room to wake me up and said “Jeanie, Jeanie sweetie wake up.”
“Huh, Oh what are you doing in my room?” I said hitting her with my pillow. “Listen sweetie, I know that you know now that we were always going to buy the house… even though we said we were going to talk about it.”
“Yeah, Quite a surprise there!”
“I’m not done, just here me out, okay!”
“Fine, you’ve got five minutes!”
“We really were thinking about not buying the house at first but…”
“4 minutes remaining.”
“We decided that we already had it planed for a month so we couldn’t not buy it but-“
“3 minutes”
“As I was saying, But after I finished on the other phone call Alex’s mom called because Alex told his mom about the situation and she said that he was going to spend the summer with his father and since there is only 1 more week left of school.” Oh no! I totally forgot I have to work on my story! “She is going to pull him out of school because he is getting all A’s and B’s on his report card so we leave as soon as we finish packing and that should take about a week because we have actually been packing for almost the whole month.”
“Well I guess I can’t be all that mad at you! I almost forgot that Alex’s dad lived there too!”
“Yep and it’s right by our house too! I knew he would be visiting every once and a while, so I talked to his dad and he said that there was a house for sale down the street so we took the first chance we got, we bought it right away!”
“I love you mom!” then I gave her a big hug! “Well you better start packing!”
“But what about selling the house?”
“Your Aunt Jenna and Uncle Stew are going to live here!”
“I love you.” And I hugged her again, I couldn’t help it, All this time I thought she didn’t care… But if she did all this just for me then… I know she loves me.
