A sudden snarl caused the three wolves to jump in fright, staying near eachother. A sudden blur of yellow and a snarl was heard and seen before four wolves lept from the undergrowth, their grey fur bristling, mud on their fur and their paws. Yellow marking were streaked across ones back, and he rose his head, giving a challanging air. Sasame growl and lunged at the smaller wolf near her, red marksing flaring up across her back. Kiara lept back as a large brute lept at her his fngs snapping a wisker length away from her ear. Hikari lept into a tree, her own blue markings spreading over her white fur. She looked down and spread her wings, diving at the one who appeared to be their leader. They rolled in the brush, hearing only one anothers growls and the snapping of teeth. The sprang apart. Hikari could hear the sounds of fighting in the distance, and her wings spread. The brute looked at her and grinned. "you look a bit scrawny to be much of a threat." He said in a slightly accented growl. Hikari narrowed her eyes. "So you think." She snarled back. Suddenly, the wolf reared up, his front paws slaming into the ground, electricity running over it and knocking hikari back where she landed in a tangled mound.
Hikari sprang back up, and looked back, at least Kiara and Sasame were holding their own against the other three. She could also make out the flickering red color that could only be fire. She shook her head, but was suddenly airborne, her paws kicking through the wind. She suddnely lifted her wings, and landed rather ungracefully, looking toward the brute. He growled slightly, a vicious light in his eyes.
