a few tears spilled out
on the night of the new moon, a single ocean was born
the distant spinning words
of the storytellers' tales
a long time ago, someone was here
the broken heart opened a little
always playing that song

the traditional things, the bequeathed things

born into this world, then
all the names that are given
hold wishes

the beloved smile moves my heart
even the halted time trembles in this storm
