to get this started. if you are not interested in learning the basics of this martial arts or curious about martial arts then dont waist my time please it is valuable because there might be people who do actually care about wanting to learn it and if your one of those who doesnt then dont be mean and ruin it for those who do.
but if you do wanna learn then lets get started xd

First i shall give a breif explination of punches and also horse stance.

in kung fu you may practice from many stances but we use one called a 'horse' stance to practice our punching from for beginners. this stance is pritty basic your posture MUST be perfectly straight with your feet parrellel to each other and the legs are shoulder width apart and there is a slight bend in the knees. as for your hands you should make a fist on each side and be pulled up and tight by yout floating ribs (about mid-high chest level) with your elbows also in tight and your shoulders as relaxed as possible (note* thumb should be on the side closest to your face). the position of your arms in the place instructed is called the chamber position.

And now for punches so long as your stance matches the description above. but before i even get started on trying to teach you punches you must know and keep in mind that this style of martial art we focus on full body. which is that we move the whole body as one. so for punches your not just flailing your arms out your also using your waist your legs. and when you get better at say about my level which is a long way down the line youll start to add in even the toes. which yes it does make a big big difference but for now lets just keep it at the waist and the arms.
when you are punching you pretend like you are holing on to and egg so that your fist is nice and relaxed (not limp) from there you are going to start with your right fist and slowly start to turn the fist over and extend to about where your sturnum would be a foot or so in front of you.also make sure that you are strikeing with only the front two knuckles. your arm should not be fully extended but the bend in your elbow should not be less than 100*. there is also a slight turn of the waist. then you pull it in the exact oposite of how you put it out. this remains true for both sides.
now that you have the basic idea down lets put some details into it. when you strike you are strikeing the center line. and what the center line is , is basically the center line of a human (spinal cord... just mentally imagine a line going right in the middle of the center of a person and thats it) because that is what you are learning to fight with any martial art. And there are three areas on that center line in which you must practice hitting. those would be the groin (low), the chest(middle) and the head(high). when your practicing to target these areas imagine practicing against some one your size just so your practice doesnt look crappy or like your trying to fight off a giant.

thats all for today.
