The Tree of Life
The girl standing before you introduces herself as Camilla. She points to the phoenix and calls it Seraphina. Camilla didn't say much until they had reached their destination.
A single tree stood tall and proud in the middle of a vast land divided between seasons and elements, yet merges at the borderlines. There were the great fiery mountains, the rock solid earth, the clear crystal waters, the light airy skies. There were also the snow caped hills, the changing leaves, the colorful flowers, and the plentiful greens. All these places shared the vast land and lived among each other in peace. They were once divided into separate lands completely isolated from the other seasons and elements. But one day a great force brought them together and the tree of life grew, digging it's roots deep into the islands. This kept them balanced and alive.
When you were brought down closer you caught a glimpse of the kind of people who lived in these places. But Seraphina brought you inside the great tree instead. There was an opening about half way up. Once you slide off you could see that the whole inside of the tree was designed and carved to look like a very fancy house, you were at the "office" or more known as the gathering place of the leaders. The phoniex let out a cry as a whirl wind of fire surrounded her. Camilla pulled you out of the way before you could get burned. Seraphina turned into an astonishing warrior with her flowing, red hair and her beaming, yellow eyes. A voice comes from the table, "You are late" A green elf looks up from her book as she stares intensely at you guys. "Fionn hates it when people are late." Camilla whispers to you. Seraphina throws her hands behind her head and pouted as she made her way to the large circle. "Well you can blame Taika and Lucina for putting on a show." Once you guys reach the table another girl enters the room. She is known as the ice queen, and with her she bought a cold air to the group. She only said sorry and sat down in her seat. Seraphina sneezes and turns up the heat, by emitting heat from her own body. This cancels out the cold as to room becomes warm. Fionn grabs some books from the library and sets them all out on the table. The pages flip open, as things come to life, holograms. Each girl takes turns telling you about their version of their world.
Fionn clears her throat as she speaks in a soft voice. "The land of the elfs and creatures of nature. Everything green, from the forest to the plains, you'll find any and all creatures who love nature and the ones who depend on it. We've set up our homes here and ever created our own civilization. The giants occupy the plains, along with the elfs, the animals, and anyone else who roams around. In the forest are the hunters, the wolfs, the cyclops, and other beast. The hills belong to the more peaceful creatures that doesn't want any kind of trouble. My house is in the vast library, you can't really miss it since it's very grand inside and out. I live on the upper floors but you can always find me at the front desk. I'll teach you everything you want to know about anything."
"or you could just go experience it for yourself." Seraphina cuts in. "You should come visit me at the top of the volcano. The tallest place among the mountains. I dare you to leap in and come visit me....or you could just take the easy way and enter the door at the bottom. The lava giants, dragons, mystical creature; creature of the light and fire, even the order of the phoenix lives here. Any brave soul that dares to walk by have to watch out fr themselves. Here we have torments that test strength and will power. Protectors of the land, the military units, the great powerful beast. We set out to kill and destroy. Not all of us are that bad though. Fire is light after all. We take up the rest of the forest that is dead and changing, autumn."
Tuyet the ice queen steps in. "And then comes winter. Anything covered in ice and snow belong to us the snow fairies, creatures of the cold. From the frosty mountains to the the ice ponds and everything else covered in white. Even the snow man comes to life here. Many animals come to hibernate, others build their homes in the snow. Eskimos, wolves, polar bears, dragons, nymphs, titans, water spirits, they all reside here. I live in that ice castle on top of the snow capped mountain. Don't come to bother me about little things. If you come bring suitable clothes and watch out for the flying snowballs. These creatures can be quiet a handful sometimes."
"And then there's me" Camilla finally speaks up. "The town, and villages, and even the cities, are the center of everything. The trading center and the ports. Everyone has to pass by us before they cross over to another place. It's our duty as city officials to make sure all is well. Here everything is normal, kinda like the real world outside. We have rain, sunshine, even snow. Here is consist mainly of humans and a vast diversity of creatures. They all come to stay in the towns and be entertained by the folks. Nothing really special except for the festivals and the travelers. People from other worlds come here first. Like the angels, the robots, the wizards, domestic animals, those sort of things."
Seraphina slammed on the table and dragged you out of the room. The other girls followed suit. Tuyet couldn't care less, Fionn was annoyed, Camilla a bit excited. Seraphina raher showed you the place then just sit there. She walked right off the tree, forgetting that you could not fly. She fell faster then you, changed into her phoenix form, caught you and swooped up again so the other girls could jump on. Tuyet refused to get on, so she spread her fairy wings and floated alongside. Seraphina got as close to the ground as she could as each person pointed out everything in sight. That was until a dark shadow wrapped around Seraphina's body. "My turn" whispered a voice as you were wrapped up in darkness and taken away.
