Life of Faith~
Whateva pops into meh head =D
The young man shifted the knife in his right hand as he waited in silence. 1:24 AM. His quads ached from crouching behind the shipping crates for over an hour, but he remained unmoving as ever. If ever there was a job that you didn't complain about late appointments, it was this one. Still, that did not stop him from silently cursing this night owl.

He realized his left hand was balled up into a fist, sticking his nails into his palm. It will be over soon, and I will be that much closer to the respect I deserve.[/i After remembering his ultimate goal, his hands relaxed and the tingling in his legs subsided some. Just as he inhaled a cleansing breath, the clatter of hurried footsteps echoed on the street. One man. 190 pounds. Leaden feet of fear. It was unfortunate the owl already caught wind of his future demise, but the idea of wary prey aroused him. His nostrils flared and his pupils dilated as he heard the steps getting closer.

When the sound was nearly in front of him, he finally moved his legs, now on his right knee and ready to spring up. The owl must have heard him shifting, but it was too late to fly away.

Now.

In one swift motion, he pushed the shipping crate in front of his target and sprang onto his befuddled victim. There is no pain better than smashing bone against bone. Flap, flap, went his wings, but no longer could he flee. He made sure to pin those down with his knees.

"You've had a great life, I'll tell you that. Now, it's my turn. You're blood is my great life. Isn't that...great?" He thrust his blade to the hilt into his chest, just below the rib cage. The killer squeezed the handle and held his eyes shut tight for a moment. He knew this would make everything better. He pulled out his knife to complete the process: a stab carefully placed between the ribs, directly into his heart.

Leaving the knife in its final home, he wiped up some of the blood and smeared it on the insides of his forearms.

Still straddling the man, he looked up into the sky and unleashed a primal roar.

This is who I will be.
