Alex and Sophia were totally upset by this and swore that they'll get the demons who killed their parents which they hope to find through the whole world ending business.
Yet overall, Alex and Sophia went through really crazy times that were very hard to go through in their lives like the Winchesters. As for now, they help the Winchesters out when they can and such - hoping to stop the Apocalypse and Lucifer.

» Overview of History/Background: Ornias was a normal (yet pretty powerful) angel of the lord. But unlike most angels who feel nothing about humans, he absolutely hated them. He valued Lucifer's idea on humans and when completely upset that he got banished. So in honor of Lucifer, Ornias took on a plan to wipe the world of the human race but got caught while doing it. Because of what he did, Ornias was banished from heaven too.
After he was banished, he took control of a human host (Vincent Stone) and did his own thing (killing humans and such). He had met the Winchester brothers a couple of times before and their meetings were never pleasant. He disliked them a bunch.
Now, joining forces with Lucifer after he was freed from hell, he helps Lucifer and his plans while making a plan to get back at heaven. Lucifer appreciates Ornias and what he's doing for him.

» Overview of History/Background: Like Castiel, Haziel was just another soldier of the heavens above (slightly lower than Castiel in the garrison but still pretty powerful) - making the Winchesters stop hell from rising. Along with Castiel, she followed the Winchesters because she follows Castiel, growing closer and closer to the boys with Castiel (more Sam Winchester like Dean/Cas) as she was starting to feel emotions which became more and more obvious as time past. Yet she wasn't going to let these emotions get to her from her duties... so she kept on watching and following orders.
On that day the final seal was broken, Haziel was helping Castiel all the way (even though it was wrong, she had faith in Castiel's and the Winchester's choices as her superior) . But Lucifer was freed.
Once again like Castiel, the both of them were punished but were both revived by an unknown force. At the moment that Sam and Dean were at that warehouse, trying to find the Michael's Sword, Castiel attacked and killed the angels while Haziel was doing what she believe was right.
Now they're both cut off from heaven and are helping the Winchesters find a way to kill Lucifer and such...
In terms of her host, Michelle Durmock, that's another story.
» Traits: Haz is very loyal to Castiel and humans as she sees that if they are God's creations, then they need to be protected. Yet she looks at the safety of all when it comes to extreme situations so she can kill if she needs to do so. Normally, Haz is not as serious as Castiel is but is also clueless on human ways. One tends to see that she shows a bit more friendly side when to comes to the Winchesters (like Cas).
