this is the book i wrote so far and i hope you like it
Chapter one

“What happened”, said Danny. “I don’t want to talk about it, it would just make it worse”, Jake said. “You’re going to have to tell me sooner or later”, said Danny but, Jake said “Why should I?” “Because you won’t want that all bottled up and end up like me”, said Danny.
Jake said, “Okay but not here.” Jake walked away from Danny, slowly down the hallway very jittery as he tries to make sure no one sees him. He walks out the door and into partial woods and he stumbles upon an abandoned cathedral that was up grown with vine and a weird star at the top of it. The roof was half broken and made of stone. He walked through the wooden doors, aisle of benches, and at the stand there was a strange book written in a different language. He took the book and ran back to school to find Danny.
Jake asked, “Hey! Danny do you know what this language is? “I think it is Latin, also considered as the DEAD language, plus not many people speak it any more. Why do you ask?” Danny said. “Here let me show you.” Jake said.
They ran as fast as they could into the forest but for some reason, the cathedral wasn’t there so they walked back to Jake’s house to find out the Latin in the book. After hours and hours of research, they discovered that the book was about agriculture magic. The first chapter was about illusion in the forest. They had to type the entire book so the computer could translate. It was talking about how to make something disappear. They read and read pages after pages.
“This is boring,” said Danny. “I know it is but just be patient,” Jake said as he dozed off and fell asleep. “Jake wake up I found something. It says that if you want to make something reappear you have to say ‘open the door to the forest’,” said Danny. “Let’s go to the spot and say what you just said. Come on, don’t just sit there like a fat man!” said Jake. “No Jake, it’s like 1 a.m. I’m too tired. Let’s do it tomorrow. Hey Jake, can I sleep over?” Danny asked. “Sure, why not? Anyways, goodnight. See ya in the morning.” They slept all night and before they knew it, it was day.
“Danny wake up we are going to be late for the bus!” yelled Jake. “Okay, I’ll be right there.” Danny said with a tired voice. “Danny, get out of bed now!” demanded Jake. “Fine, I’m ready. Run, run, run. No! We missed the bus. Hey Jake do you want to cut class and go to the forest?” Danny said. “That doesn’t seem like me but considering we did miss the bus… okay we will.” Jake said in a droopy voice. “Do you have the book Jake?” Danny asked quickly. “Would I never?” Jake said while pulling out the book with other papers. “What are those?” Danny asked. “These things? I printed them out. They are English copies of the book. One for you and one for me. Let’s go.” Jake said in a smart yet stupid way.
They took their bikes and headed off into the forest. They rode and rode as fast as they could while being right behind the bus. Then the bus stopped while Danny and Jake hadn’t noticed that it had, so they accidentally rammed it at full speed and their bikes got busted up. “Oh, that’s just great now I’m going to have to buy a new bike, and our transportation is low.” said Jake in an angry tone and his arms crossed.
“Well at least we’re here,” Danny mumbled. They walked over into the woods.
They said in harmony, “Open the door to the forest.” Then all of the sudden they felt a rush of air twirl in front of them. Then there was a soft whisper followed by the rising of the cathedral. Danny was in awe as he saw this happening. This is amazing, and I am the one that gets to see this in real life. WOW. Danny thought to himself.
“Danny close your mouth and let’s go in,” said Jake. “Man, you’re like Taylor now.” They walked in through the doors of the cathedral, and slowly down the aisle. “This is where I found the book,” Jake said as he pointed to the wooden stand. Danny gazed all around the building as though it seems that he is dragged to the center of it where the floor is covered with leaves and the ceiling has a golden circle right above that area.
They pushed all of the leaves to the side, and there was identical golden circle lined up with the other one just with different writing on them. “This is too crazy. I need to rest.” Danny said, “Let’s go back to your house, okay?”
“Wait one sec, let me make it disappear. Close the door to the forest.” said Jake.
“No, it’s noon my mom is home she will ground me for skipping class. Let’s go in, it’s only lunch time. If we get in we will make it to second period without anybody knowing we were gone,” said Jake. It was noon they got in and there day was normal except for the small talk about the cathedral.
They were walking down the street when David, Cece, Brianna, Kara, and Erik walk by and David asked, “I heard you guys talking about some ancient cathedral or something. I don’t know, but can you tell us about it?” “How about I just tell you because I don’t want them knowing and having them tell other people. Okay?” said Jake. “Fine with me guys.” David said.
So Jake, Danny, and their new friend David set off to show him everything they have found so far. They walked back to the woods. “Okay this maybe a little bit weird David. Open the door to the forest.” Jake said as the wind whooshed by and the cathedral rose up. “You say that’s weird I have seen crazier things than that, trust me,” David sighed.
They walked in through the doors of it. David saw the golden circle on the floor and the ceiling. “Let the stars rise in the day. Huh.” David whispered to himself. “What did you say David?” asked Danny. “Oh. This says let the stars rise in the day, but that makes any sense.” David said. “Wait a minute you can read Latin?” Danny asked astonished. “Of course, I was the only one that took it as an elective.” David said while thinking “How would they not know?”
“Wait I have an extra English copy of that Latin book let’s see what it mean’s. But first let’s go to my house.” Jake said. “Close the door to the forest.” He said while walking out and not even bothering to look back at the cathedral. Jake, Danny, and David walked off to Jakes house, and when they got there they skimmed through the copy of the book. Once one person was done skimming through it would be they next person’s turn. Then after it was Danny’s turn David read the entire book, looking at its odds and ends trying to find what it means.
After about four hours David finally found what it meant. The time was roughly 7:49 P.M. Jake and Danny were out in the backyard thinking about what they read while skimming the book. David called for them through the open window but they didn’t notice that he was, so he headed off to the forest. David said, “Open the door to the forest.” He walked in and onto the circle and looked up on the circle above him the Latin read turn night to day. So if ‘let the stars rise in the day’ can make you go back in time then ‘turn light to day’ must mean you can go forward in time. David thought.
“Let me try this.” David mumbled. “Let the stars rise in the day.” he said in a bold voice. Soon enough it seemed that nothing happened, so David went back to Jake’s house but on his way he noticed that he and his friends were walking down the street after school when he first got Jake and Danny to let him help. David thought, it really did bring me back in time. Out of his amazement David ran back to the circle and said, “Turn night to day.” David stood there and looked around as though every thing was froze when he went back. He walked back to Jake’s house, and they were still out side talking.
David decided to go out side and tell them what he had found. David walked through the yard and into the back and he told them all about the time travel and they were amazed by what he had said. The three of the boys ran to the forest, but when they got there not all of them were able to fit in the circle so they did it one at a time. Jake was the first to go to the past when they got there, and soon after neither of the other boys was there and when he went back to see what was taking so long he realized that the present was actually froze when someone goes to the past or the future. When Jake went back every thing was where it was when he left.



Chapter two

BAM! All three of them crashed into each other and fell onto the ground and into the leaves. “Ah my head hurts. What was that for Jake?” Danny said as though he was in great pain and out of breath. “I didn’t mean to, when I got back time was frozen or something similar to that. So, sorry Danny.” Jake said. “Hey! What about me?” David asked. “Sorry.” Jake said.
The three of them got up and walked to their own houses to take a nap but, they forgot to make the cathedral vanish. The next morning when they went to school together they realized that they forgot something and then out of nowhere the three of them couldn’t control what they were doing or going for that matter. It turned out to be that they were being brought to the cathedral for some reason but, then they realized that with one look over that it was still there and animals and creatures of all sorts fixed it up to its brand state of position.
When the boys walked in there where still squirrels and birds cleaning but when the kids walked in the animals rushed out. It was like the cathedral was put here for a reason. Then they walked to the stand where the book was when Jake got it. What he didn’t notice before that there is an indent in the wood where the book would be placed shut. As soon as Jake saw that the book levitated out of his sling book bag and went into the indent then light green lights came swirling from the book and, inside of them were memories that the book has been brought through. All the memories showed a village in ruins that is being rebuilt by a boy or girl and the same elder always accompanies them in it but they end up dieing in different ways but by the same person.
After awhile of that everything turned black and then back to its normal place but the cathedral was a mess with potions, books, and powder every where. Then the same elder in the memories walked through the door as if he wasn’t aged one bit from what he looked like. The elder walked up to the boys and snapped his fingers and the entire place cleaned up itself. He said to the boys “Yes you are here. Everyone in my school has been waiting for you.” Danny said in a soft voice “We don’t even know you.” The elder said “Speak up my hearing isn’t what it used to be.” “He said we don’t even know you.” Jake said in a louder voice than usual.
“Well I know every thing about you, you are the chosen ones and maybe the last of them considering how many of you there are.” The old man said. “So you are saying that what just happened with that book brought us back in time? Yes.” said the man and David. “It might be a bit weird for you so if you want you can go back to your time and practice your magic and it is all inside of that book you translated. To go back just simple place the book back in the indent.” Said the elder.
The boys placed it into the indent and they woke up in third period history class. It seemed like nothing happened and they thought it was a dream and continued their day. When it came time to go home and they were walking home they stared talking about how they woke up in their third period class and they all had the same dreams.
After they started talking to each other about having the same dream they went back to the cathedral and it was rebuilt just like in their dreams. They ran up to the stand and the indent was still there. Jake took out the book and placed it in the indent but instead of what they saw before every thing flashed green and they were back in time. The elder got up from his seat as if he knew they were going to be back at this time and he got up and walked towards the boys and said “I was wondering how long it would take you to notice it was not a dream.
