"Forever and Always"

You are the first and only
That I have given so much to
Before you there was no other
All I had were wounds and friends
Nothing more can be said of before
Except that I was alone
We were strangers at the time but that soon changed

You dared to open my eyes
You bravely broke the barrier and conquered my soul

When you saw my wounds and my anguish

You healed and changed me

Now my former wounds are forgotten since you found me

We may bicker at times

We may disagree and argue

But that is only natural

As long as you stand by my side

And throughout our battles we must fight

To win the war of love and harmony

We will prove that true love truly conquers all

Even though age and great distance get in our way

We continue hand-in-hand never letting go

But if you ever fall into darkness

I'll be there to guide you back into the light

Though I can not be there in flesh and blood

I will be there in your heart
And I will protect you and love you....
