So for the few reading this, I already made up my mind on Pokemon Sword and Shield. Well, it was announced that by February Nintendo will release the Home app to allow players trade in Pokemon from older games to Sword and Shield. Pokemon Bank was the first introduction to this idea. where you can trade old Pokemon from as far back as Diamond and Pearl to the newer X, Y, Sun, and Moon. Now I never used bank, but for the price they ask, is not bad, at all. It's only 5$ a year, with no limit. That gives you enough time to trade over all Pokemon and never use Bank again.

However, you won't be able to trade all Pokemon over to Sword and Shield since they cut out most of them. With the expansion they are allowing 200 more from the old dex. I'm not sure on the numbers but this will include the Pokemon not cut from the original 800 they said didn't make it. Not counting Legendary Pokemon and what have you.

Now here's the middle finger, Home....in order to use it fully, to trade over Pokemon from Bank. Will run you $16....a year. Mind you this just covers you trading over Pokemon. From Pokemon Go, and Let's go Eevee/Pikachu. There is no Mystery trade. There is no GTS. So you are paying $16....for...nothing. Not counting the $60 for the game on top of $30 for the Expansion. (That's not even adding the rest of the missing Pokemon). On top of the $5 People are already paying for Bank, to get ready for Home. But there's a cheaper option. You can go for $4 a year, sounds better right? NOPE, you go for the basic option Home has, and it won't let you trade over Pokemon, to Sword and Shield. You want you Pokemon in the new game, you are PAYING that $16....for a small window of Pokemon they will add. After you pay for the expansion of course.

This has to be...the biggest middle finger to the fan base I've seen in YEARS...Mind you this doesn't cover the fact people are still kind of mad over Pokemon Z not coming out for 'reasons'. Nintendo, Pokemon, they don't care about the fan base anymore. They want your money, because they finally see just how much they can milk this cow and get away with it. I'm not buying it, flat out, I will not support this and I don't think anyone else should. Pokemon is dead to me at this stage. The hell with them for thinking this kind of crap is okay. It's not, ******** them.
