I think you should eat the potatoes, I don't know the quantity/portions of your other meals but I don't think you're getting enough calories right now. Plus potatoes have loads of healthy vitamins and minerals for your body >: 3 its a supper food!!!! muahahah (providing its not deep-fried or something of the sorts XD haha)

Oh I wound up eating the potatoes (luckily it wasn't whipped with milk or anything, just mashed) b/c the oranges were rotten so couldn't eat them yesterday

and how is your energy level and mood these days? are you feeling more tired or cranky compared to usual? Better than usual?

Over the last week, was sluggish and cranky. Slowly though, I am getting more energy but nowhere near feeling up to doing abdominal exercises yet so doing 30 min walks to regain some energy

Yea, I understand, how many calories do you think your getting in a day? Do you think it might be possible that your current diet might be contributing to how your feeling right now? Because I've tried a 1.2k cals diet in the past before and felt the same way. It never really worked for me. I know we hear often in the fitness industry that 1.2k cals the magic number we should aim for, but after consulting a couple of nationalist on the matter, they seem to say the healthy range women should aim for is more in the 2k zone, which I think sounds more normal since it's similar to what I'm eating right now, and I find I don't feel sluggish or tired or cranky anymore as a result. It's also possible that its not the diet but, I figured I'd share my thoughts on it, because I'd hate to see you crash as a result. You're already doing great work, and I really hope you'll be able to push through this for the long hull, I just don't want to see you crash even though your putting in all the effort and energy because the diet itself is not nourishing your body enough.

I don't know, what do you think?

well no one will be in a better state to know what's best for you, then you yourself, just don't give up on yourself or lose sight of your long term goal : ) So long as you always remain in a caloric deficit you'll still loose weight, but yea...how low your caloric deficit is, remains up to you.
