i finished that application.
holy cow. it's a 10 page application.
i just counted the words i wrote, out of curiosity. and i see i wrote about 3,004 words (or more, probably a few more as i edited the lesson plan even after i wrote it. added a few things, clarified a few things. etc).
that is roughly 6 singled spaced pages. or 12 double spaced pages.
and i wrote it in 4 days. go me! LOL.
i was internally wondering if i got old or rusty at writing, because it was kicking my butt. but when i look at the page count... nope. that is only a little less than what i could crank out in college.
i think i was kinder to myself in college though. hahaha. i planned better, gave myself ample time, spent a lot of time planning, taking notes, and so on and so forth.
i kind of totally missed the opening date of the application submission. it was August 1st! ><' so i am 25 days late in sending it. that puts me back a ways in the line, i'm sure.
the market has changed drastically in the last 6 years. there are a ton of applicants with masters degrees or teaching certificates. i'm sure there's an uptick in people wanting to live in Korea as the kpop boom has attracted a lot of people.
anyway. hyeah. there it is.
i submitted it. it's done. i can relax now.
