Chapter 46: { wahmbulance }

The night grew quiet, most of everyone had gone to bed. Only Hancock and Nick staying up since neither one really needed to sleep. There was enough houses to go around so Sara just picked one near where the bridge was. It had been patched up over time and a small bed was placed inside. There was a cooking pit just by the door, but she walked around it. Arthur was more then happy to have her alone, slipping off his battle coat as he pulls her to his side. She just smiles up at him as she starts to pull down the zipper to his uniform. He was more then willing to let her remove the uniform, having to kick it off once it reached low enough. He still had an impressive body, a few scars here and there of course. She shoves him onto the bed as she starts to remove her uniform. He tries to get up to help, but she pushes him back onto the bed. It takes him a minute to figure out as he lets out a low sound, watching her undress. She watches his eyes darken with need as she removes her clothes for him, slowly. She normally didn't do these sorts of things, but she loved the look he had when she pulled something new. It was like he never seen her naked before, and it made her feel all warm inside. Once she was completely bare she pushes him onto his back and he blinks, looking up at her. She normally let him take the lead when it came to the bedroom. But tonight, she was going to take the lead and that look he had told her he was liking this.

She places herself on his hips as she smiles down at him. His eyes move right to her breast. "Enjoying the view Arthur?" His hands move to her hips as his eyes trail over her. He could only nod however, unable to speak at the moment. She giggles at him softly as she runs her fingers over his chest. He was an easy man to please, she couldn't think of any moment he had something negative to say. She moves her hips over him, feeling him already rising against her. He was also easy to arouse as well, which was always enjoyable to watch. She watches him closely as he takes a deep breath, his hips moving against her's, wanting to be inside of her. She smirks down at him as she works her way over him and slowly slides over him, letting him enter her slowly. He lets out a low gasp as he rolls his head back, tightening his hold on her. She sits herself on top of him once he was fully inside of her, letting him get used to the new angle. "You okay down there?" He lets out a deep breath as he looks up at her. "Remind me to let you do this more often..." She laughs softly as she starts to roll her hips, watching him moan under her. He rolls his hips with her, letting her set the pace. She keeps her hands on his chest, making sure she wouldn't lose her balance. She hadn't done this to often, but he seemed to enjoying this. She pants softly as she starts to move faster over him. He tightens his hold on her, grunting under her.

She leans her body back, letting him slide deeper into her. He fit her so perfectly, it was still a bit surprising. He arches his back as he starts to shift the pace, he was getting close to his release. He always moved faster when he started getting close. She leans down a bit as she bites his lower lip playfully. He lets out a low growl at her as he continues to move against her. He was so close to the edge, she bites his neck as he lets out a small sound. His whole body goes stiff as he hits his climax. She could feel his hot seed coating her as she shivers and hits her own organism over him. Their pace slows after a minute or so and she soon lays on top of him, both of them breathless. He moves his arms to her back as he holds her close to him. She smirks at this as she trails her fingers over his chest. "So I take it you liked that?" He lets out a low chuckle as he kisses the top of her head. "It was oddly....erotic to watch you..." She blushes at this as she nuzzles against him. "Well I'm glad you liked it." She couldn't quiet hold back a yawn however, it was close to one in the morning after all. She closes her eyes as she lays her head on him. She could feel his hands trail over her back lightly. "How do you do it?" Her eyes flutter as she looks down at him. "Do what?" He takes in a deep breath before he answers. "Get along with....everyone?" She gives him a small smile. "Arthur, believe it or not, it's not that hard." She understood his views on the subject. Between the Mutants, the Feral's, and the Synths. It was just proof on how badly things had gotten.

Her mouth twitches a bit as she gives it some thought. "I was always raised to not judge someone for what they looked like. You judge them on how they treat others and how they hold themselves. I mean when I first saw you, you're were intimidating as all hell." He was a gruff man that held himself with force. "But over time, I saw the real you, you have a good heart. You want to help people I just don't think you know how with everything you went through to get this far.." He takes him a deep breath as he slowly nods. He was trying, which was a good start as she nuzzles against him again and closes her eyes. He tightens his hold on her as he looks up at the ceiling. She ends up falling asleep after awhile as he glances down at her. He had worked so hard to get as far as he did. He still wasn't sure who was named High Elder, if there was one. But he got the idea that was still open for him at some point. The Brotherhood was so wide spread, he hoped by now thing would be running a bit more smoothly. It was a lot to take in, but he looks down at his wife as he sighs deeply. He wasn't alone anymore, and that made things a hell of a lot better to deal with. He yawns deeply before he settles in for the night, falling into a deep sleep. Morning came fast and they woke up and got dressed. Most of Sanctuary was already out and about. Well anyone who didn't have a hangover. Sara adjusts her hat as Arthur wraps his arms around her. She smiles a bit as she leans into him. "Morning." He tilts his head to kiss her neck. He mumbles something, but she just giggles a bit. "Stop that tickles!"

It takes a moment for him to release her so they could head out. They were close to the new gates that had been set up, MacCready already making his rounds. The walls around the Sanctuary were looking good. She finds what was left of an old playground, poor Duncan just looking at the swing. She chuckles a bit at the confused look on his tiny face as she walks up to him slowly. She kneels down slowly as he looks up at her. "Heya buddy, what's wrong?" Arthur just stands back as he watches her. "What dis?" He had never seen a swing before and he was just watching it go back in forth with a mild interest. Even RJ slowly makes his way over to make sure his boy was okay. It was easy to lift the kid into the swing as his eyes go wide. "It's a swing, you well, swing." He didn't seem to understand so she gives him a light push. It takes only a minute before he's enjoying it and screaming to go higher. Of course she didn't, the chain didn't look that sturdy. "Kick your legs kiddo." he slowly seems to get the hang of it as she steps back, watching him. Mac just chuckles at this. "Hey your a natural." She feels herself blush as she smirks at him. "I had a lot of nieces and nephews, you get kind of used to it." RJ watches his boy a bit. "I didn't know you had siblings.." She shakes her head a bit. "Step siblings, they weren't really family, but between..the three no..hang on.." She had to do the math in her head a bit. "Yeah three that were married, there were so many kids, like everywhere." She spreads her hands out as he laughs. "I can't imagine having that many running around.."

She rubs the side of her head lightly. "God I can't even remember their names anymore, there were so many of them I think I gave up after awhile." She looks up as she crosses her arms. "Can't even remember the last time I saw them all, but no one noticed when I slipped away, took hours for my mom to bother looking for me.." She frowns at the memory before she shakes her head. "Guess it doesn't really matter anymore...ooof." She catches Duncan just as he was about to jump and chuckles. "Hey there." He just giggles and runs off to go chase after Dogmeat. "You know if the whole world was able to bottle the energy of a three year old, nothing would ever lose power again.." RJ has a good laugh at this. "No kidding, took me ages for me to get him to sleep and he still has more energy then I do.." She pats his back lightly. "Just wait till he gets older and you have to sit down with him." She watches his eyes go wide with horror. "Sh..shoot...I never thought about that...that's not going to be awkward." "Welcome to parenthood..." RJ sighs as he heads off, his head down now. "Poor thing." Arthur walks over as he slips his arms around her. "You really are better at this then I am.." She turns as she touches his face. "I've had more experience, though I can't say I had much experience with like, infants...that was...oh boy.." She had tried once, she had no idea what she was doing in the slightest. "Still have no idea how to change them." She gives him a helpless shrug. "But that's...kind of how it works, you know, you learn as you go.."

She turns as Danse and Nate make their way over. Nate was the first to speak. "The caravan is going to head out, we're going to travel with them and make sure they make it back to Goodneighbor." Danse nods his head. "We'll keep our eyes open, if we do see anything, we'll let you know." Arthur nods his head at this as he looks at Sara. "Guess this means we should head back to the ship." Sara gives it some thought. "We should stay here, just in case.." Nate gives her a surprised look, but smiles warmly at her. "Thanks, it'd be a load off my mind. These people are like family to me you know?" Sara could understand that. "If that's okay?" She looks at Arthur as he slowly nods. "Very well, I get the feeling Kells won't like this, but we'll keep our eyes open just in case someone decides to be stupid." It wasn't long before they left and Danse and Nate followed the caravan, now dressed as simple settlers. They close the gates as Piper lets out a low sigh. "Good luck out there Blue, I really hope it turns out it was nothing.." Sara places her hand on her shoulder. "Yeah same, but I can't help but shake this...feeling I got.." Piper shivers slightly as she nods. "Great, now I'm creeped out, thanks, I needed that." Sara chuckles a bit. "Sorry Piper, I'd promise to behave, but it wouldn't last for a second." Preston slowly makes his way over, holding his gun. "We should set up lookouts just in case.." Hancock and MacCready agree to this and head out.

Nick heads out as well, to see if he could spot anything. Poor Cuire looked a bit scared as Cait wraps her arms around the robot turned Synth. "Don't worry love, I got ya back." Cuire slowly seems to relax, she wasn't really much of a fighter after all. Preston nods his head to them. "Right, nothing will get past us. Not the Minutemen, or the Brotherhood of Steal." Arthur gives him a rather serous look. "Of course, you helped us against the Institute, it's the least I can do." For the rest of the day, it was mostly quiet. Still none of them could really shake the feeling that there was something was indeed watching them. As the sun was setting Hancock and MacCready return, much to the enjoyment of Duncan. Hancock holds something out as Sara takes a look. "What is this?" "It's a laser rifle, from the Institute.." Arthur frowns at this as he takes a look. "Where did you find it?" Hancock just tilts his head to the side. "Just outside Concord, and I know for damn sure it wasn't there the other day.." RJ lets out a deep sigh as he runs his hand through his hair, holding his hat in his other hand. "I thought we wiped them out.." Arthur lets out a low sound. "It's possible their Coursers could have survived, we wouldn't have noticed if they slipped out.." Hancock shakes his head at this. "Aren't they programmed to only go after run away Synths?" Sara lets out a low huff at this. "What's to say they can't be reprogrammed with a new objective?" All three of them look at her. "Well, it can't be that hard.." RJ kicks at something, trying not to swear.

Hancock crosses his arms, keeping his dark eyes on Sara. "Can't we make something that would short circuit their brains?" Sara looks down a bit at this. "We could, but we risk harming anyone close by that's also a Synth, that includes Danse, Nick, and that Curie girl if I'm not mistaken.." Hancock snaps his fingers on this, hoping they were onto something. RJ holds onto his son tightly. "Well we gotta do something, we can't just sit here and wait for them to kill us off, or whatever it is they'er planing!" Poor Duncan tightens his hold on his dad and he sighs softly. "Sorry....hey is that Nick?" They look out to see that the detective was heading their way, however he wasn't alone. Behind him was a dark figure in a long black coat and sunglasses. Sara knew right away who, and what it was. X6-88. He was an optional companion she had missed the first time she played the game. He was interesting but she only kept him around long enough to get his perk and kicked him to the wayside. They all lower their weapons when he shoved Nick forward with his weapon. X6 looks at them, his sunglasses stopping at Sara. "Alright friend that's far enough, let him go.." Sara growls out, but the Synth doesn't budge. "Sorry, I have my orders, I am return to our new base, with you." Arthur steps in front of her, arms wide. "Over my dead body.." "That can be arrange." The Synth answers without a beat and Sara pulls him back. "Why me, I can't be that interesting to you..."

"My orders are quiet clear, I am to return with you, and one Nathan Thomson. If you do not comply to my demand, we have orders to take out this settlement.." She tightens her fist at this, but with Nick in front of him, no one had a clear shot. And it seemed he had the ability to rain hell on them if they tried. "Alright alright, let him go, I'll go willingly if you promise not to harm these people." Arthur turns to her sharply. "Sara no.." She places her hand on him. "I know, but I wouldn't be able to live with myself if this place got burned to the ground because of me...you do want me alive right?" X6 nods at her, still holding onto Nick. "Yes, I am not to use force unless necessary." She hands her weapon over to Arthur before walking up to him. "Let Nick go.." X6 shoves him to the side as he grabs her. "X6-88 requesting relay with one Sara." There was a flash of light, and they were gone as Arthur tries to reach out and stop them, but it was to late. Hancock helps Nick up as he lets out a low sigh. "Thanks, he came right out of nowhere, no idea why their so interesting in her. Nate I understand.." He looks at Arthur, but he had no answers. "He aid he was going to go after Nate as well." He was on his way to Goodneighbor. They were all thinking the same thing as Arthur makes his way over to his Vertibird. He wasn't about to sit back and let a bunch of robots take his wife for whatever reasons. Someone was going to pay for this.
