This song is very much a throwback to the Colours universe I designed awhile back. The six protagonists pile into a blue van (owned by Cian?) and drive and explore New York City, of course.
Essentially the lyrics reflect what they do. Weiss madly digs through the glovebox for a map, the characters laugh and talk (though we don't know what they're saying). They have dinner consisting of pancakes at iHop, laughing and enjoying each other's company. They walk through the brightly lit streets at night, bearing backpacks full of food and clothes probably. They lean in for a group photo in front of the statue of liberty. Weiss admires the poster of tonight's performers at Carnegie Hall... etc etc.
