You are foolish to believe that you can control or bend the dark to your will. But you will try to do it anyway. You humans can never leaves things alone. You’ll have to see for yourself that it comes with a price. It will take something from you, willingly or not. If it doesn’t, it will take someone from you as payment or punishment for even trying.
You can’t reason with the dark. It is ancient and has always been here since the beginning of everything. You can’t run or hide from it. It’s everywhere, even if you're aware of it or not. It is wild, smothering and desolate, but it’s also calm, abundant and free.
It is not evil, nor is it good. It is what it is. It is your decision that will make it a friend or an enemy. And if you’re still hellbent on controlling it, I’ll say it’s going to give you a reason to fear it.
