Trunks was confused as Sara stepped out of the ring. She didn't know what to say, or even feel at the moment as he rushed over before she could faint. He sits her down slowly, leaning her against the wall as the announcer leans in. "Uh hey, is she okay?" Trunks could only nod. "I think so, think you could give me a minute?" The older male nods as he lets them take a minute. Trunks turns his eyes back to his mate. "Sara...hey, Sara, snap out of it, what happened?" She shakes her head, trying to figure this all out.
How was it possible, had she been wrong? Maybe her body simply shut down to keep from farther harm, and simply didn't kick in until she had found a mate to be with. It was the only answer she could really think of at the minute as she sat there, quiet. It took her a few seconds to realize he was even there. He looked so worried as he kneeled down beside her. He was about to forfeit his own match to make sure she was okay, but she takes his hand to stop him. "I was wrong..."
He blinks as he leans closer. "Wrong about what hun?" She felt herself blush as she slowly got back up into her feet. "Everything, well, at least about one thing.." Trunks tilts his head as he held her hand lightly. Something was up, he just couldn't tell. "Just tell me, what happened in the ring why did you forfeit?" She blushes even harder as she looks down, her ears folding straight back. "I'm...pregnant...according to Goku...and he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to lie about something like that."
It even took Trunks a few minutes to, allow everything to soak in. He felt his legs buckle for a second before he lifts her in his arm, kissing her. "Are you kidding, this is, oh man, I feel dizzy." He laughs as he sits her back down, not letting her go. "I knew something was up, my Saiyan instincts were going into hyper mode when you went into the ring...didn't see this coming though!" He was so happy he couldn't keep still. He blinks as he smiles wide, running up to the announcer. "Can I borrow your mic?" He nods and hands it over as Trunks makes his way to center ring.
"Uh...hi, many of you know me, I'm..Trunks Briefs and one day like my mother Bulma Briefs will run the Capsule Corporation.." He was never the public speaking type, but his mother did warn him as time went on he would have to get used to it. He shakes his head a bit. "I know my match is next but I wanted to take care of something first.." He turns to Sara and waves her to join him. She raises her brow at him but gets back onto the stage with him, crossing her arms at him.
He hands the mic back over but waves the announcer to stay close. "Not really how I planned to do this, but hell, where's the fun in plans." He takes her hand in his as he actually gets down on one knee, in front of the whole stadium as most people gasped with delight, even Bulma had to suppress her squeals of happiness. "I asked you once to be mine, when you said yes, I didn't think I could ask for anything else." He reaches into his pocket of his coat and pulls out a small box.
He opens it, revealing a ring, that mimicked the one she had. In the middle was a lovely sapphire in the shape of a star, the crescent moon that sat on the inside had a line of fine diamonds inside. She lets out a low gasp, her tail moving slowly. "You..you didn't have to do this...especially in front of all these people." He gives her a shrug as he smiles. "Makes it harder to say no?" She shakes her head at him. "Why the hell would I say no you goof!" He just smiles and lifts her up, kissing her deeply.
Everyone was cheering for the new couple. No one knew the heir to Capsule Corp was dating, or in a serious relationship. The announcer had to fix his sunglasses, doing his best to hide the tears. "There you have it folks, while this young lady might not be walking away a winner, at least this makes up for it!" She just laughs as she takes the ring, kissing him one last time. "Go kick butt." He nods and lets go, ready for his fight now. His opponent soon enters the ring and everyone soon turns back to the fight.
Sara made her way back into the large room where the other fighters were watching the whole scene. Goku just smiles as he congratulated her. Vegeta just crossed his arms, still not understanding why she stepped down. She shuffles a bit as she looks at Goku. "He wasn't going to fight..." He looks up at that. "I didn't want to hurt her..." Vegeta just raised his brow at the both of them as she goes back to blushing. "It...seems I was wrong, about how badly I was hurt. Who knew?"
Vegeta felt his energy rise at the news. So he was going to be a grandfather after all, Bulma was going to have a field day. He lets out a low huff, doing a really poor job of not showing how happy he was. "Whatever, just don't think this means your brat gets to call me grandpa!" The others catch the news and Goten beams. "Wow, that's good news, you're going to be a mom!" She still felt a bit nervous about all of this, but she just nods. "Y-yeah...still needs to sink in a bit.."
