Once the cake was done Bulma pulls it out and lets it cool while she grabbed the frosting and a few other things to place on the cake. Bulla just smiles as she kicks her legs. "I want to go exploring!" Sara chuckles at that, she wasn't sure how well Vegeta would handle that though. "It's fun, honestly I think the only reason I really got into it was just knowing I didn't have much to return to.." As sad as that was, it was true, she never did find any other family over the years. "When I was able to properly join the fighters guild, I had a job to do, so that allowed me to go out more than I normally would."
Bulla just nods slowly, understanding a bit more. Bulma decided to just go ahead and finish the cake and see if she couldn't get Whis' attention. She heads out and poor Vegeta was left with only a glance before it was gone. "Do you miss your parents?" Bulla leaned forward a bit as she continues to kick her legs. It seemed to be a habit she had. "Honestly, sometimes I didn't really get the chance to know them, but thinking about it now in a way, I'm almost glad they're not around...I can't imagine how I would be able to explain...well this.." She points to her head.
"It's going to be hard enough to explain it to Oreyn when I talk to him." Vegeta didn't have much to say on the matter. His whole planet had been taken from him, so he could at least understand not having family. Nappa and Raditz didn't really count, they weren't blood related. After a few minutes or so Bulma walked in, with Whis now happily eating the cake. "You really outdid yourself this time..." Bulma turns her gaze to Sara as she jumps up and walks over. "I made it...with some help, I was hoping to see if you wouldn't be willing to take me home real quick. I would do it myself but I don't want to get hopelessly lost..."
Whis was silent as he eats. Truthfully he could get into a lot of trouble for entering another Universe unannounced. He could always sneak in so he nods. "Very well, but I expect more for this, after all I can get into a lot of trouble for this." "You bet, I'll cook ya dinner!" Whis agrees as he holds out his hand to her. She blinks as she turns to Trunks. "This shouldn't take long...hopefully, if it does, then I got caught up on some work." She gives him a small wave before Whis takes her hand and they both vanish.
Trunks looks down a bit, he knew how important this was for her. Still he already felt, lonely without her. Bulma just pats his back lightly. "She'll be back.." "Oh I know, I just feel kind of bad she'll have so much to explain when she gets there. Can't imagine how well it will go.." From what she told him, she hadn't been home in almost two years, so there was a good chance it would take awhile before she was able to come back. Perhaps he could use this time to actually tell his folks the news. After all he figured his mother wouldn't be to upset over the news.
This did not stop him from blushing like crazy though as he shuffled his feet a bit. "Guess I can't help but worry, we kind of, hit it off in the time chamber.." Bulma's eyes light up at the news as she smiles brightly. "Oh that's so sweet..wait..you..I knew it!" He jumps as he hides his face. "Mom..." "Oh come on, I'm not that blind, you really are your father's son..." Vegeta crosses his arms at his wife. "I don't see how I'm dragged into this, I'm nowhere near as wishy washy as the boy." Bulma places her hands on her hips as she walks over to him.
"Is that so, I remember a certain Saiyan losing his control when Beerus slapped me." Vegeta felt his cheeks blush as he looks away. "Shut up." Bulma just giggles softly, it was still the most sweetest thing she had ever heard. She lets it go as she tuns to her son. The guy looked, rather happy, it made her feel all warm inside that her son could actually be happy with someone. She always feared he would end up alone because of his fame and fortune. "I'm happy for you son." Bulla had no idea what was going on, but everyone seemed to be in a good mood all of a suddon.
Meanwhile Sara had managed to talk Whis on landing a mile away from her home. She could see the outline of Chorrol not far ahead. It had been so long since she's been here, she almost couldn't move. She lets go as she turns to Whis. She didn't want anyone to see him, to many people would start asking way too many questions. "Just...hang here, I'll be as quick as I can." He just nods as he watches her run off. He didn't really mind, gave him time away from Lord Beerus for a change as he got to enjoy the scenery. Sara was fast when she needed to be as she entered the large city.
She felt herself slow down as she made it to the fighters guild, still the same as ever. The sign just swinging in the breeze as she slowly walks in. The place was already lit with a few candles as a few members were wondering about. Oreyn just watches over, not really saying much. He was the same as he ever was. He was a dark elf with dark gray hair, cut into a high mohawk. His red eyes seemed dull, no doubt a sign he had been worrying too much. Everyone comes to a halt when she enters as she stands behind her old friend.
She places her arms behind her back as she clears her throat. "Get back to work ya lasy good for nothings!" Everyone jumps, even him as he turns, his gaze quickly turning to surprise. "Sara!" He smiles as he was quick to pull her in for the tightest hug she had ever gotten. She had honestly missed the old man as she holds him close. "I'm sorry I was gone for so long, so much happened it was hard to return home." He looks her over, his smile quickly fading. "What...happened to you?" She takes a slow breath as she places her hand on his shoulder. "It's a long story my friend."
