So I got what I needed and completed my dex in Sun. Got my shiny charm, I'm a happy camper. With that I've restated my Moon and plan to do the wonderlocke challenge. While I work my way to getting wonder trade I wanted to talk about one thing, the starters of this game. I always felt that out of all the games the only ones where I didn't like the starters was Black and White. While the starters aren't bad in Sun in Moon the only thing I don't like is all their speed, is crap.

While I love Primarina, you find yourself, more often than not going last a good amount of times through your journey. It's not to say it's a bad Pokemon being a water/fairy type, it's speed, doesn't help it, but it's a good thing it's sub-fairy type lets it tank a few good hits. With that in mind I still have to ask, why does Rowlit get a grass/ghost type at the end of it's evolution? Why not keep it a grass/flying type? There's a lot of ghost types in this game. It's kind of neat. Oh gosh I feel like keeping the Rowlit I picked, it's stats are looking good. I also caught a Pichu, so I might just trade off four of my Pokemon. =P

So yeah I'm keeping Pichu, because my last play through I made the mistake and evolved it to soon, plus it had a 5% encounter rate. I'm keeping Rowlit as well because I really want to use this is my party so my new four team members from wonder trade are:

1) Magikarp- Of all things, it's a weak water type that can become a beast once it evolves. It's lvl 1 so not bad.

2) Granbull- A pure fairy type, only weak to steal and poison moves. lvl 40 so it wont listen to me for awhile.

3) Cubone- ground type evolves into a fire/ghost type. While Rowlit will be a sub ghost type, having a sub fire type would be interesting. lvl 1.

4) Dratini- a dragon type and one of the best ones in the game. lvl 1 so I'm guessing it's a breeding reject. However it's nature doesn't look that bad, so here's my new team.

I'll probably keeps Granbull in the the box because I will not be able to use it for awhile, that and it's way over leveled compared to my other Pokemon. This is going to be fun. =3

On a side note, am I the only one that misses the days when the experience share was a held item? Thy changed it in Black and White to be an item you can turn on and off. With it own it shares exp to your whole party. While that may sound great, it kind of makes it pointless to have your whole party fight. It's very broken to say the least. I still have no idea why they changed it, or why they kept it like this it really makes no since. o.o
