What do you do when you have a friend, who has a friend, who is threatening to commit suicide? You can't prpare someone for something like that and you certainly cannont prevent it when you are a couple-too-many STATES away. Either way all I can do is hope everything turns out all right in the long run. I tried talking to my friend, telling him it wasn't his fault and told him she wouldn't have called him if she hadn't thought he would impact her decision somehow. Then again she's 18. She could get a job and start things on her own, it just won't be easy, but then again, wtf IS easy? Nothing. She, I guess, mentioned dating him again and he told her the same thing he told me, that he wasn't ready to date anyone yet, THEN she brought up the suicide notation....hmmm, no I'm not an attention getter. I don't want to sound harsh, but what are the odds of that? Suicidal people don't set a time limit..."if things don't get better by friday..." well Hell, tomorrow's, deaths door I suppose...they do it. Saying I am going to kill myself is a lot less stronger than slicing those wrists...funny since half of them don't even know the right way to do it....that's scary that I know that...I'm not suicidal, by no means what-so-ever. I just read a lot. My love life may not exist as far as having someone like Travis and Lisa have one another, (which I am SO happy for the two of them! STILL planning on getting a way down to Virginia so you two can see one another!) but I'm not going to scar up my arms any worse because I don't have someone....things will come my way when they are supposed to I am sure....
They could speed the ******** up a little.....or when it does come, it better be the man I am going to marry. I don't mean to sound conceded, but I think I at least deserve that much....don't I?
