On August 17th, while in the middle of negotiations with Tribune and without warning, Cablevision unilaterally removed PIX11 from its cable systems.
I can’t believe it has been three weeks today since WPIX11 (The CW Television Network, which features America’s Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural, The Vampire Dairies, Nikita, The Secret Circle, etc.) was blacked out. Cablevision is pissing me off because I love watching Supernatural and it’s unfair for their customers to miss out on that channel because they’re being…well read it here.
I figured by now they should have reached a deal. The longer this goes on, it seems like there is less of a chance that the channel will come back. It seems like I’ll have to resort to watching my favorite show online. I don’t mind it that much but I don’t like the idea that I’ll be staring at the computer screen more than I already am. If not maybe I can borrow my dad’s television that has the antenna, which airs the channel for free while he borrows my TV to watch his shows. I don’t know, it’s a last resort because I’m sure my dad wouldn’t like that.
I hope PIX11 comes back on.
