~Glass hearts & Warm hearted lies~
whisper these lullaby words to me softly,
my heart of glass is fragile,
and i'm afraid,
it might just brake,
if your hands of flame,
and your words like stones,
will shatter it into a thousand peices,
but then,
what will i have left inside of me?
to feel empty,
and hurt?
why i'll have you of course,
you are my empty,
my hurt.
How silly to forget,
countless hours like flowing rivers,
glide by so slowy,
but not silently,
for i can still hear the faint trickle of time,
filling my ears,
almost how you had once filled me,
you had filled me up with nothing,
nothing but your empty promises,
and warm hearted lies,
that oddly,
left me feeling,
so very content.
