Herman Cain has passed Romney and is now the frontrunner, despite his tax plan being quite possibly the most regressive and ill considered since the third poll Tax which led to the Great Peasant Revolt in England since 1381. It is also the biggest tax cut for the rich since the Us existed as a country and is the biggest tax increase on the working poor in the history of the country. It will also completely abolish medicare and Social security entirely, because Herman Cain says the churches can cover all of that. Right. I realize that further increasing the gap between rich and poor is even larger, forcing the elderly and disabled to starve in the streets and making the poor beg for food door to door are all popular Republican ideas, but I still don't understand why anyone who doesn't have a million dollar yearly income is in favor of this.
I keep saying the Republican party wants to drag us back to 1850. I give you the 999 plan as further proof.
* Michele Bachmann is claiming the 999 plan comes from the devil. O.o She's also claimed that she has only worked in the private sector. I am confused. When did we privatize the IRS and for how long has income tax been paid directly to corporations instead of the federal government, because I'm pretty sure that would have made the news if congress passed that law.
* Rick Perry is claiming the American Revolution happened in the 16th century. It's like he's racing Michele Bachmann to the bottom of the gene pool.
