My body shakes with effort
My life is flowing out of me
My heart stutters and shakes
My life is flowing away
Leaving my shell of a body
My heart beats its final beats
I wonder, briefly
If I should be scared
But I only feel cold
My blood pools around me
My heart finally stops
My body goes still
I feel nothing
I become nothing
I no longer exist
My soul leaves
Struggling to hold on
Until it leaves
Eagerly awaiting
It’s new home
