I felt like making a journal. gonk

So what's up with me? I need to get back to the vibe of writing, that's for sure.

I was thinking about making a Steampunk styled comedy with a floating island with people who use nature based magic. Along with people who live on The Planet, are more of technology users.

My basic plot is that the people of The Planet are destroying the natural environment of The Island, and since their island is floating by nature based magic, well..as my one friend put it, "Splat."

So that's the Man Vs. World based conflict. I still want some Man vs. Man conflict, but I need to work on the characters.

Like Mona Ralnor, her mother, Hailey Ralnor had first created relations with the Islanders, but when The Queen wanted to settle there and send Islanders off of their natural environment, Hailey went mad. Mona was offered to start a new life in The Island, but Mona refused. Mona worked as a Literature teacher at a secondary school.

There is also Rhianna Xan, a half planeter half islander. Her father died of sickness while her mother raised and supported her until the age of 18. Rhianna tried to go to University, but couldn't find a passion, so she went to The Island to meet her father's people. She came back a year later with the bad news about The Island squishing The Planet. No one believes her, so she decided to kill as many people before the end happens. Rhianna continues to do so until she got injured by Mona, and Mona catches her familiarity from University. Plus, Mona believes Rhianna, and is willing to help.

I would like a make more characters. Hailey is so cool, that she might make a come back, so she can be there beyond the prologue. I was also thinking about making an airship mechanic along with someone who works at a mental hospital, mostly for the sake a Hailey. I also need a few Islanders, but characters are my forte, so they will come to my head.

This is coming too much like Avatar... and that movie doesn't have a good story... I don't have prettiness to save me so I need to good story.
