Tristan didn't sleep. instead he lay awake thinking what should i do if she says no? what if she says she needs time to think about it? what if she says yes? am i ready? should i wait 'till I'm older to purpose to her? He didn't have time to think, he just got up and took the ring and drove over to Abbigail's house. At two in the morning, i must really be in love with her. ha ha i bet my parents are going to kill me, he thought.

"Tristan what are you doing here at 2:30 in the morning?" Mrs.Cray said.
"I need to see Abbigail. right now. please. it's important." "I'm sorry, but she's not awake Tristan. but if it's that important than it can wait."
" no it can't. I'm sorry but it can't.
"alright. come on in. she's in her room. she's doing her homework." "Thank you. may i go up and talk to her?" Tristan asked. "yes." he went up there and knocked on her door.
"who is it?"
"it's me, Tristan." he was scared about what he was about to do. she opened the door. "Tristan what are you doing here at 2:40 in the morning?" he got down on one knee an said the special words.
"Abbigail, will you marry me? i love you with all my heart and i will love you for the rest of my life.please."
"i-i-i don't know what to say." she said.
"just say yes." he was panting really hard and he was also sweating to death. he loved Abbigail and he would so totally be embarrassed if she said no. but he would always love her, no matter what.
"YES. yes i will marry you." she said like she really meant it.
"Abbigail Marie Cray!" her father was suddenly at the door listening in on our whole conversation. "You're only 18!" her father looked like he was colored by a three year old! he was turning purple!
"Daddy." She said like she was really really annoyed."yes i am 18 but that doesn't mean that i can't get married. well engaged, and besides you always said you liked Tristan." 'hero'
