Well, because some of you want to know XD; lol
I felt it might be a good idea to post my process on how I create my artwork for Gaia Commissions/Auctions:

1. What I do is sketch out my piece on notebook paper. For some reason I draw better pieces on it than something like copy paper or my good bristol board. Makes me feel like I HAVE to get it right ^_^; And I usually ALWAYS mess it up and go through so much good paper.

2. Then, I of course get the approval of the client, make the adjusts if they are needed, and so forth.

3. Then, I go into Photoshop and print out a copy of my piece and size it up on the Bristol board. I lightly tape it down and slip a piece of paper with graphite applied to it, place the graphite facing down on the bristol board and trace along the lines lightly to transfer the image to the bristol board.

4. Then I ink it, add anything I think needs to be added, erase the graphite, and reshow the inked version to the client. If everything looks ok, then I begin the coloring stage. Sometimes, I show the client 1-2 samples of the color progress.

5. Then when I'm done, I give the finished piece to the client and await the comfirmation of the trade ^_^

It's a bit of a long process, but this is the cut down version XD;; Color pencil is a tough medium to rush, so I ALWAYS take my time with it to make it right ^_^

Now, I will also state, that if people are commissioning me, they better be prepared to wait as long as it takes for me to get a piece done. It can take a few months for me to do a single piece with all the detail and care I put into my work. You also have to factor in: I'm a human and I have a life and other things I want to do than sitting in front of my pencils and paper all day long drawing pieces for fake money ^_^; I would love to be getting paid real money for my work, so I do this out of the kindness of my heart XD;; I also have a relatively annoying hand injury I got when I was in 5th grade, dealing with a deep cat bite and the damage of some of my tendens and muscles in my drawing hand. So from time to time it cramps up and I'm unable to work with anything dealing with me have to grip something with my fingers. So with all these factors, I must say this:

If you're excepting to get a fully colored piece in a week, then I'm NOT the artist for you. Sorry about that ^_^;

Thanks for reading ^_^!
