Wood Of Lies

Do you see me as I stand alone?
Do you watch me as I fall?
Do you hear me as I hit the ground?
Do I make a sound at all?

Am I all alone in this wood of lies?
Or are you here to cut me down?
Are you here to drag me away from this?
Or is it here I'm forever bound?

Are you the axe to the trunk of my tree?
Or the blacksmith to my axe?
Do you help me cut down the lies?
Or do you try and twist the facts?

I stand alone and wait for you,
To tell me where you stand.
Do you stand alone as well I?
Or do you hold out your hand?

Do you see me as I walk alone?
Do you watch me as I chop?
Do you hear them as they hit the ground?
Or do you try and make me stop?

Do I cut alone in this wood of lies?
Or are you here to help me out?
Are you here to keep me away this?
Or do you try and fight the doubt?
