Chapter 4
I couldnt help but think then how wrong that felt, but at the same, how right. It was like that was how it was meant to be. It just seemed funny how I had still thought that Tsukai was "the one" only a few days ago, and then this happened. I almost felt bad for doing this to Tsukai, but why? He had left me for another too. I kept my promise. I loved him till he no longer loved me, and his heart fell for another. I really did feel guilty though for killing his girl..forever.But I guess thats life. It throws some things at you that you cant control. Like who dies, and who your heart picks to love. This was one of those things.
I thought as I held tightly to Yoru.
Yes, this is definetly one of those things. I smiled, and looked back at Yoru.
"I love you Rineco."
"I.." I paused. This still felt so weird, but it felt unexplainably right too. "I love you to Yoru." I smiled again, and cuddled into his chest.
"The next town is ahead, we will get a hotel there, and will rest for a couple days. We just have to be careful to make no threats against Karuki. It could set some people off, and then we could have some problems." He said with a frown which suddenly turned to a smile. He waited a moment, and studied my eyes more.
"I cant beleive that your finally mine, after all that I have done. Im still so sorry. I hope that I can be the guy that you have always wanted from here on out. I want to always make you happy Rineco."
I smiled, and cuddled into him more. "I hope I can always make you happy too."
"You already have. This, this is the best thing that has ever happened. I never want to lose you now. I would be lost...I wouldnt want to live."
I just studied his eyes, all of the small intricit details. I smiled and closed my eyes as we made our way into the town. I had to admit to myself, that I had never been this happy, or even felt this loved, even when Tsukai had still loved me. I was happy now, happy again.
We walked into a hotel, Yoru getting a room key, and following the directions of the worker's to the room.
We stopped at room number 47, at the back of the hotel on the first floor. Yoru opened the door, and carried me in, setting me on the bed, then taking both of our bags of of his shoulder, putting them beside the bed. He sat by me and sighed. "That was a long walk." He laughed, and layed down on his back. "Ugh."
I switched my position, and sat by him, looking down on his face with a big smile. "Thank you." I said.
Yoru laughed, the pulled his arms around my waist, making half of me fall over him. My head rested against his chest, and I continued staring into his eyes with a smile.
I closed my eyes, and listened to his heartbeat which started off steadily, then gradually began to pick up. My smile grew a little more.
"Love you Yoru." I opened my eyes looking at him.
Yoru smiled, then began to sit up some against the pillows, and the headboard, setting me in his lap to the side, and holding me to him for a moment. I cuddled into his chest for a moment closing my eyes with a smile. He moved me slightly, and I suddenly felt his hand rest against my left cheek, and part of my neck. I began to open my eyes slightly, but they soon closed again as soon as I felt his warm lips press against mine. I could feel his eyes on me now, so I opened mine too, just as his lips pressed against mine for a second time, then a third, and a fourth. I was breathing slightly more heavier as I caught my breath from making out with my new boyfriend. I knew I had a huge smile on my face now, and closed my eyes tighter. My face felt like it was burning up as I rested my hand against Yoru's warm chest, and cuddled into him again. All I could hear now was my heart beating rapidly.
This was the best day I had in quite a while. I thought to myself as I gradually began to fall asleep.
I had awaken in the middle of the night, under the blanket with Yoru. We were both laying on our sides. My head was pressed against his neck, the rest of me was also pressed against him, cuddleing in as close to him as I could get. I smiled as my vision began to clear, then looked up at his eyes. I almost jumped, as our eyes locked. My smile grew. "Its nice, watching you sleep. Sorry if I startled you." He said, his smile growing as he threw one of his arms around me, pressing me even closer to him.
My smile grew also. "Thats alright." I paused, and slipped on of my arms around him too.
"I hope sleeping with me isnt bothering you. I wasnt sure If I should put you in the other bed alone or not. You started shivering though soon after you had fallen asleep so.."
I smiled again. "No, this is fine." I paused. "What time is it anyway?"
Yoru turned his head to the right to look over at the clock.
"uhm-"
As soon as he turned back around, I pushed myself upward some, my lips meeting with his. Yoru smiled larger as we both stopped.
"Its 3:55am." He said then laughed, and held me tighter."
I laughed also, then cuddled into him again. "K'."
"Love you Rin."
"Love you too Yoru." I smiled at him again, then closed my eyes and tried to drift back off to sleep.
Surprisingly I couldnt get back to sleep now. My head seemed to be racing with so many new thoughts, thoughts about Yoru. How I never dreamed that I would have fallen in love this suddenly with my past enemy. It seemed funny, and stupid. But it felt so nice, and real.I still felt bad about switching my love on Tsukai, still after all the promises I had made with him. But he had broke all his promises to me. Whats broken is broken, and it might as well stay that way. I was happy the way things were now. I smiled at my thoughts. I was actually happy again...although still had a twinge of guilt mixed with sorrow. My ex boyfriend had still died afterall, and I just switched to someone new, after killing his girlfriend that he cheated on me with. This was becoming quite an interesting love story. I almost laughed in discust of myself. It seemed horrible I was doing this. But..
I paused in my thoughts for another moment, and glanced back up at Yoru, who was sleeping peacfully now. His pale blue and white eyes stayed closed as I studied him. His silver hair covered some of his sleeping face. His mouth was gaped open just slightly, letting out warm breath on my neck. I smiled, then closed my eyes too. Everything seemed ok now. I was happy, finally happy again. I thought, drifting back off to sleep.
A beam of sunlight made its way through the cracks in the curtains. I lifted my head up, looking perplexed at the sunlight that was seeping in through the darkness, then burried my head back into Yoru's warm chest. I felt Yoru moving now too, letting out a groan, then moving his hand from my waist and covering his eyes.
It seemed to early to get up yet, considering we hadnt gone to bed till late. We werent going to leave the hotel anyways till dusk, so there was still time to rest-if it wasnt for the blinding bright rays of light ofcoarse.
"Damn sunlight." Yoru muttered, then moved to look down at me, instantly gaining a smile. I smiled back. His eyes seemed brighter in the sunlight, one a soothing ocean blue color, and the other silver, almost white, like cold, freshly fallen snow that was glistning in the beams of sun. He squinted at me for a moment, then glanced at the clock.
"Its only 7am, we havent even been sleeping that long." He groaned again, then rolled on to his back. I curled up to him, resting my head on his shoulder, staring contently and happily at him, Yoru returning my same affectionate look. Yoru closed his eyes again, stretching out his arms till they hit the headboard, and let out a long sigh. I sat up, stretching myself, then looked back at him, yawning.
Yoru sat up also, smiling at me. "Doesnt look like we will be getting back to sleep again. You wanna walk around the town some, for a little while I mean. Maybe we can get some new supplies and clothing. I'm sure you would like some new stuff to wear." He paused. "Maybe a weapon too." Before I could object to him buying me anything, he leaned over, kissing me genltly on the lips, the swung his leg's off the bed, and stood up.
Im going to get in the shower before we go to the village though. You can after me if you would like." He smiled, then picked up his bag from beside the bed, and headed for the bathroom.
I layed back again, tired, and sighed. Who ever knew that Yoru had really loved me this much. I just, wonder if its true though. I frowned. He has lied to me so many times, but I read his thoughts, and just the way he acts and...
I smiled, and sat back up, flipping my bag on the bed, and began rumaging through it.
I had brought about five outfits with me, only one was still clean now. The others were smudged with dirt, or blood, and some were ripped, and looked like a complete mess. I layed the dirty clothing on the other side of the bed, and the clean one beside me. If I was going to get more clothing, I might as well throw those ones away. Besides, I needed new clothing anyways, and I would buy my own. I just wouldnt feel right to let Yoru pay for a few new outfits, it wasnt needed to spend money on me. The next thing I pulled out was my hair brush, toothe brush, toothe paste, ect. At the very bottom of my bag was a silver dagger, a large bag of money (which I have to say weighed alot) and then many bags of blood. That seemed tempting, and I figured that I probably should open a bag anyways, I hadnt drank blood in quite a while now, and was beggining to feel weak. I pulled one of the bags out, then opened it with my razor like teeth. It opened eaily, ofcoarse, and I began to suck it down.
That is when Yoru opened the door of the bathroom, walking out, and locking eyes with me. He looked somewhat shocked at first, then smiled. I had finnished up the blood quickly, taking the corner of it from my mouth, and sat it down beside me. For some reason, I felt embarassed, and I could feel a burning sensation traveling up my cheeks. I smiled back at him, then looked away.
"Haha, why are you blushing so badly?!" He paused, then walked over to me. "You really have no reason to, I'v seen you drink blood before, hell, I had seen you rip people up into a mangled mess, and you have never blushed. You havent drank blood in quite a while, so its a good thing. You never have to be ashamed of thirsting for blood Rineco, you are a vampire after all, and so am I, partly atleast." He grinned at me, then also grabbed a package of blood from my bag. "You can use the bathroom now if you want." He smiled at me again. "Love you Rin."
I smiled back, then picked up my clothing and other supplies to take with me. "Love you too Yoru." I stood up, and walked towards the bathroom just as I heard him tear open the plastic with his teeth. After closing the door behind me, I began to undress, then started the shower. The water pressue and warmth felt nice on my skin. I closed my eyes, relaxing for a moment, then began to wash up. Stepping out, I got dressed, and around, the wiped off the fogged mirror with the towell I used.
It seemed I changed everytime I looked at my reflection. I wasnt quite sure who I was anymore, yet, at the same time, I knew exactly who I was. I smiled at my reflection. My hair had grown only a little sense I had cut it, and was near the middle of my back now. The highlights were a bright, aquatic blue, as usual, along with my left eye, my right eye being its usual emerald green. My skin was flawless, pale and smooth. I looked the same, but at the same time, I didnt. I looked like another person, I looked happy, and normal. Like I didnt have any huge worries, or things to stress over, like saving this planet. I didnt even pay much attention to my werewolf transformation anymore. None of that seemed to matter. I realized that I was who I was, and I couldnt change that. My certain responsibilities like saving this world, along with others, and keeping my love with Yoru alive seemed to be the only things that mattered now. I then turned to the door. There was another mirror here, that went about the same length as the door. Yes, I looked the same, besides the new clothing anyway. The dress I put on was about the same length as the others, dropping to the knee's. It was slightly low-cut, and had straps that tied around my neck. Ribbon was looped through the bottom and top of the dress, along with lace, giving it an innocent type of look. Its color was mainly white, with some silver and aqua blue is places like around the bottom and top. It fit me perfectly like the others, hugging my curves gracefully, then flowing down at my hips. I smiled at my new look, my new reflection, and stepped out the door to meet Yoru's eyes.
"You look nice." He said, walking up to me, and wrapping his arms around my waist.
"You ready to go into the village?"
I smiled up at him. "Sure."
From there we made our way from the hotel, and into the bustling village.

Chapter 5
The sun had risen, now high in the sky, hovering over the village, and sending blinding light on to this world. The town didnt look so dead now. The people were living their lives in this world, as if nothing at all was happening. As if their world wasnt being taken over by evil and chaos. The sky was its usual off color, having a mysterious reddish tint. The sun's beams were this color too, only darker, more fresh blood colored, mixed with a little burnt orange. We followed the dirt road farther into the village, getting more into the market area.
"Where you wanna go first? I will take you out to lunch too later if you would like." Yoru smiled affectionatly at me.
"Yoru, you know you dont have to do that. Im fine with just taking a walk with you."
"yea..but.." His smile grew slightly larger till it almost looked fake, yet pleading. Was his smile fake? Was this whole thing an act. No! I had to stop this. I had to trust him, fource myself to. I heard what he was thinking, he's telling me the truth. He loves me. I looked down at the ground with a slight smile, trying to cover up my blanket of guilt and discust with myself. I had to trust him..
"Hey, you wanna go here?" He stopped, tugging on my wrist, signaling for me to stop too. I turned in the direction he was then facing.
There was a small dark wood building, square shaped with an old shingled roof. It had a small concrete step before the rotting door that had a sign that read "Entrance-Welcome all visitors to Lynn's Clothing and armor shop!"
"Sure, I guess." I replied, and we headed towards the store. The door creaked sharply as I opened it, then a small delicate sounding bell went off. I stepped in, then glanced around the store, which was compeltly overloaded with clothes and armor. Some clothing was stacked upon the seventy some shevles, some on the tables that were stacked side by side, and some hanging up randomly about the store. I manuvered about the tables till I made my way into a space where I could actually move more freely, then glanced better at the clothing.
"Wow.." Yoru replied blankly, standing beside me now.
I couldnt even say anything. The clothing was absolutly geogeous, and looked homemade.
"Some one had a lot of free time.." I replied, then took a step forward as I looked around me in awe, suddenly jumping to a new voice.
"Welcome! How may I help you?! Would you like anything? Anything at all!?!!" I spun around quickly with large eyes at the obnoxious teenage girl voice.
A teen fox demon stood in front of me with a huge smile- I mean HUGE! Her lips were going to rip off if she stretched them anymore. Not to mention, her smile had to be the creepiest thing I'd ever seen.
Her skin was just as pale as mine, her saphire colored eyes, widenening as much as they possibly could. I smiled back slightly, and let out a nervous laugh from the back of my throat. "Uhm, were just looking right now, thanks though."
The girl stared at me with her gleaming teeth and wide eyes, then tilted her head slightly to the right as her smile began to fade into a firm frown. I stepped back a little as her eyes narrowed on to me.
"You..are going to buy something. Right?" She stepped towards me closer. I continued backing up nervously till I hit a table behind me. "Because, well..we havent really had visitors for a while here...a long while. Not to mention my little sister is sick..we-need-money." She glowered at me with her peircing red eyes. I looked back with wide eyes, then glanced at Yoru who was standing in the middle of a bunch of tables. He gave me a lifeless blank look, like he was lost and didnt know what to do.
"Yea, I-I'm sure we will buy something." I smiled, feeling insecure. The girl stepped back a little, and studied me for a long moment. Her lips abruptly lifted up into her smile again, and a loud booming voice exploded from her small body. "MOM!! WE HAVE CUSTOMERS!!! THEY'RE GONNA BUY SOMETHIN'!"
I jumped back, falling more onto the table. I felt about ready to make a flying leap and get the hell out of there, but who know's what that crazy girl would do...
A lady suddenly came out from a door behind the desk. She looked like she was in her early twenties, a tired lonesome house mom. It made me wonder what had happened to this family. The girl said she had another sister, and that was her mom. They must've all died together then? I frowned, then switched to a smile as the women glanced over at me.
She did not smile back, however. She stood there for a moment, her silver-blond curls falling onto each side of her face, the rest cascading down to her hips in graceful spirals of gold. Her eyes were also not red. They were a bright, ocean blue, but held a somber darkness to them, like a once serine ocean that was being attacked by a gruesome and dangerous storm. She was abnormally thin, I could easily see her ribs sticking out through her deep blue silk dress that went down to her knee's, met by some black knee high boots. Her blood red lips were yet to move, neither were her muscles. My smile faded, as confusion set in. The girl only stared at her mother in silence. Thats when the mothers eyes switched from mine, to her daughter, then to Yoru. They widened more, sticking there for a moment. Her lips quivered, and she slowly began to back away into the darkness of the doorway. The last I saw were tears, as blue as her eyes, rolling down her cheek's, and onto the wooden floor.
The girl hesitantly looked away from the door with a frown, then turned to Yoru.
"You scared her. Guy's are monsters..I should have never let you in here. The girl glowered at Yoru, then turned, glanceing at me, then headed for the doorway.
It was silent for a moment, then I heard talking.
"Mother, Im really sorry..we..we just havent had visitors for a long while, and they held good vibes. The guy seemed safe..he hasnt done any harm.."There was silence again, then a sob.
"Rin we should le-"
"Shush." I pointed my indfex finger at him, then hesitantly walked towards the door.
"Miss..." I mumbled into the darkness. "What is wrong? We mean no harm..just looking through shops.." I said politely, careful not to upset either of them.
There was silence for a moment, then the girl came into veiw. "Come with me for a minute.." She grasped my hand and pulled me into the dark, going through a couple different rooms, till we were away from her mother.
She turned on an old lamp beside her bed, and signaled me to sit.
"I am guessing you are wondering what is wrong with her?"
I nodded.
The girl looked down, then slowly began to speak.
"My mother is twenty-seven years old now, she met my..father when she was twelve, and they had me at age sixteen on accident. at age twenty, they had my sister, who is dieing right now, Cammy. My mother and father got married when she was twenty four, a year later, she found out that he had several affairs with other women. Sadly, when my mother had told him she was going to leave, he hit her, and threatened that if she left, he would kill us. She never did leave, but the abuse got worse, and worse. When she turned twenty-six, she had a close call with dieing. We knew all of this at the time, she told us, not that my little sister understood, but I did. I wanted to kill him, but my mother would never let us try to do any harm to him, afriad that he would physically abuse us too. The closer she turned to twenty seven, the more scared she became of him, and the closer she got to the border of commiting suicide. We couldnt do anything, no matter how much we wanted to. The day she turned twenty seven, he killed her. It was on accident, although I seen it all. They were in my mother's room, talking, my fathers voice raised, and he hit her head hard, and it made contact against the glass window behind her. She never moved, even though he frantically tried to get her back alive. I had gasped, and began crying. He heard it, and didnt know what to do but kill me next, then my sister. I guess he fled afer that. No one really knew us, we didnt have family or anything, so Im sure he never got caught. But my mother has been afraid of men sense then.."
I was borderline from crying by that point, and ready to kill their father right at that moment. He would have the most painful, slow grusesome death that I could come up with! No women, or person should be treated in that way.
"Im sorry..." Was all that excaped from my quivering lips. "I wish I could do something to help her..."
The girl looked up at me, her eyes now a blue-ish silver color. I blinked a couple times, trying to think about something else for the moment to hold back tears.
"Hey..where is your little sister?" I asked inquisitivly.
She grasped my hand again, and took me into a room that was across from the one we had just been in.
"Cammy...We have a visitor.." There was a weak moan heard. The girl turned on the light, and sat on the bed by her little sister, who began coughing, and gasping for breath. I looked down with a frown.
Cammy looked up at me, her eyes as blue as her mothers. Her face was probably paler then mine, and it was easy to tell that she was battleing death. Death could come to those who were already technically dead, depending on the sickness and such, it was rare though. Although, in Cammy's case, it wasnt looking well.
"I might be able to heal her.." I said to the girl.
"Really..?" She looked up at me with pleading eyes for a moment, then wrapped her arms around mine. "Yes! Please try to!"
"Ok.." I smiled, and leaned over Cammy for a moment studing her. Her blue eyes switched back and fourth from being shut and open. I put my hands gently on her chest, and closed my eyes, focusing all energy to heal her. I could feel power exploding in my veins, then excape in a rush, a cold rush, yet it almost burned. I could feel energy being drained from me. I knew it was working now, but would I be able to save the girl though? Thats when I began to feel very dizzy, and lightheaded. I lifted my arms up gradually from her, then looked down, unstable and dizzy. The room was spinning. I could feel myself swaying back and fourth now, my eyes closeing and reopening on the dyeing girl. Well, I hoped she wasnt dyeing anymore, but I wouldnt know right away. Thats when my eyes decided they would no longer open for me,and I could feel the air pushing against my back, as I fell backwards, and came in contact with the hardwood floors. I could hear faint talking, then yelling, then nothing..
I opened my eyes slowly, coming face to face with worried Yoru, who's worried expression turned into a huge crooked smile, that I just couldn’t help smiling back to. Oddly, waking up, my first thoughts were not of the girl I might have saved, but on how different it still felt to have Yoru in complete love with me. Why couldn’t I get over this?! I thought back for a moment, as Yoru stared down silently at me. Maybe because a few of those times I'd passed out was because Yoru had once wished for my death, or perhaps because he had just killed my ex-boyfriend, who I had once loved more than anything in the world. But why were my feelings for Yoru now so much…greater than what I had with Tsukai. It just didn’t make sense! But I had to stop obsessing over it. Yoru had done things in the past yes, things that had even hurt me, he had lied…but I love him, and as far as I knew, he loves me too. Maybe, maybe we had loved each other all this time. Who knows. Maybe I'd never understand our love, or the drastic change Yoru has made in his attitude to me. Or, maybe it wasnt a drastic change, considering he had loved me when he met me, but I suppose was more interested in his deal for power. But, it was nice, comforting now. Ugh. Yep, I would never understand love and emotions. Oh well.
My smile had faded, and my eyes started to close once again on Yoru's face. I still felt very weak, not to mention sick now. My eyes reopened slowly, following with a yawn that stretched from each corner of my mouth. I smiled sleepily at Yoru, then my eyes flashed to the background, where the family I'd just met stood. The mother, along with her two girls were behind Yoru, staring down at me with hopeful smiles. I smiled, and sat up slowly, the room spinning faster now. I yawned and rubbed my eyes. The pain from falling to the ground suddenly reached my head, and seemed to disperse throughout it in a sudden sharp acheing and throbbing feeling. I squinted my eyes, noticing blurred figures rushing over in excitement to hug, and praise me for helping Cammy. Wait, did I help her? I looked over at the small girl just as she threw her arms around me, with a huge smile. She seemed normal, the color in her face was back, and she no longer looked ill one bit. I smiled, being thankful that magic had worked for me. The girl released the hug, and the mother walked over sitting by me. Her smile was thankful, full of gratitude.
“I cannot tell you how utterly thankful I am in words. My daughter is finally back to normal now. Also though, you ended up helping me with something else too.” She looked over at Yoru with a faint smile. “I met your boyfriend after you fell, he was in a frenzy, so worried.” She paused and smiled again. “I have not came near men sense the incident in my past life, so I never knew how to react. The incident back then scar’d me pretty much, and I hadn’t been able to escape from it. But Yoru was so worried, and showed so much love…I guess it made me realize that all men are different, and I shouldn’t stay like this. So, thank you very much, to both of you.” She paused again to smile at both of us. “You have changed out lives completely just from stopping by, and words aren’t nearly enough to thank you for that. I would like you to pick out anything you will need out of our store to help you with your journey. I am glad you are going to help this world. Maybe we happened to stay normal because of all the love we had for eachother, who knows. But I hope that you get to save this world.” She smiled once more, then stood up. “You may pick out whatever you need-there is no limit.” She smiled once more, then left the room along with her two girls.
That’s when it hit me. The spell that Karuki put onto these worlds only effects people that have greed, selfishness or evil within them. God, that’s about everyone. But those who were thankful for what they had, and the love for one another, could stay good, her power wasn’t enough to penetrate though that. As Yoru went to kiss me, I automatically blurted all of what I just learned out. He paused in front of my face, not knowing now what to do or say.
“Well, we know the problem now. But that includes almost everyone, so…”

“Yea..I know.” I frowned.
Yoru smiled at me, then leaned over me more, puahing our lips together. I closed my eyes, all of my muscles relaxing, and my headache receding for a moment. I looked up at him with a shy smile after that.
“Should we go shopping now?” I said with a laugh. Yoru nodded, and we headed our way back into the shop.
We each ended up getting a few new outfits, and some much needed armor. The family we'd helped had offered more, although we felt guilty for already taking the beautiful clothing we had for free, we couldnt possibly want more. Besides, we were both satisfied with the fact that we had helped the family. We left with thanks, and continued our way through the village.
There wasnt much else to buy that was needed then. We had stopped at a health shop soon after, picking up some healing supplies for our journey ahead, and our shopping for the day was done.
I glanced to the right, seeing an old clock tower, although it was only the height of an average house. Its hands slowly moved to the 1pm point, a dim, offune sound escaping weakly from it. Yoru and I both glanced at it again as it sung its ancient sounding tune, the walked ahead.
I turned to Yoru suddenly. "Love you.." I said, my voice shy, but strong.
Yoru turned with a large smile. "I love you too.." His smile slowly faded as he paused in thought.
"You wanna' go to lunch now? Neither of us have had that great of meal within a while." Yoru said, looking over at me with another slight smile, then looked down.
"Yea, that sounds nice." I replied, and stared at him for a moment. I noticed his lips quiver, then open slightly. His eyes studdied the black dirt as he walked. My intuition seemed to be screaming at me. Somethings wrong. Ask him whats wrong. He's acting weird...
No. I wouldnt let suspicion take over. He was good now, he was mine. I didnt have anything to worry about, did I?
I studied his busy eyes for a moment that seemed to be in a glaze. His lips formed into a worried frown, but no words escaped.
Was something going to happen again? Maybe something he knew about, that I didnt? NO! I couldnt do this anymore. I should trust him...no..I need to trust to him...

CHAPTER 6
"Yoru, you alright?" The words invoulentarly escaped my lips. I frowned at myself, then shot another worried glance at Yoru. He seemed to be just snapping out from a daze as my words startled him.
"Huh? Oh, yea. Sorry..Im fine.." He gave me a slight smile which abruptly turned back into a frown.
"Oh, uhm, you wanna go here to eat? He signaled to a resturunt to the right. It looked very nice from the outside, tidy and clean.
"Sure."
We stepped into the resturunt, being imediatly waited on. We sat down, then ordered our drinks.
Yoru was staring down at the table now, seeming to be in his daze again.
"Yoru?"
Yoru's face arose, red with either anger or worry. I couldnt tell. "I cant do this, damn it!!" He yelled, attracting attention from the surrounding tables as he cursed, and slammed his fists down to the table. His eyes were glazed over in tears again. He shifted his eyes from the table to me. I looked back, tensed, and completly startled.
"H-here are your drinks.." The waiter, which I now noticed, had been standing there just before Yoru's emotions exploded. The tiny, shy looking girl looked at us with large eyes, being tensed up also. "I-I'll be back in a moment to take your orders, excuse me!" She then scurried off into the kitchen a few tables behind us.
I directed my attention back to Yoru.
"What is going on?" I said firmly.
Yoru frowned at me. "I'll tell you...but not here.."
I glanced around, seeing many gleaming red eyes studying us with suspicion and wonder.
Yoru suddenly stood up, taking my hand and drug me around the corner into the single roomed women's bathroom. I was pushed in, Yoru following, then the door being slammed the locked.
"You know..your in the girls bathroom right?" I smiled.
He smiled back for a slight moment, staring deeply into my eyes, which ended after a long blink. "I have something I havent told you Rin, and Im very sorry. I figured we were already in too deep right now, and I didnt want to give you more to worry about."
I hesistated with speech for a moment. "Ok...so..?"
Yoru paused for a moment, then went on.
"Your ex-boyfriend, is still alive. Karuki took control of him sense he arrived, alothough she already planned this. She planned his fate from the beggining. All we are doing is playing with in her little story book. Your ex was against you from the very beggining. Karuki has been alive sense Miasaki, so she had ultimate time to plan this out. Karuki was just as strong as Miasaki, although Miasaki was the first born, by seconds, and the pure one. Being the first of their kind in the new world, they have an additional power, that they can chose to weild, or not to weild. This is the power to change time, to decide fates, and births. The only thing it cannot decide is love. However, this can be altered. Life and time is not nessessarly something they can completly control, but only something that they can try to change-but it doesnt always work. Miasaki chose not to weild this-she beleived that people should make their own lives, chose their own fates. She did not foresee the future this way, and never suspected her sister of commiting the crime she is now. But eventually, Karuki seen this coming, and she had her chance to take over. She made your ex her's from the start. His heart was never yours. Sadly enough, I was in her plan too, as you seen. But she kind of played my part in as time passed. But in that time, I fell in love with you, and well, it broke the spell. (haha just like a fairy-tale, right?) Im not within her little story anymore, only here to help you. But anyhow, your boyfriend is alive, and he is teamed up with Karuki. Karuki set him with power already, and as she gain's power, he will too. But we have one more problem yet..."
"And..what is that?"
"You had a sister that died at birth...your mother never told you about her, did she? Well, she is your evil side.."
"W-Wait?! What?!"
"Sorry, there has been a lot going on that I hadnt told you about. But where your sister fits in, is that well, she is a hostage. Although she's evil, she still has a heart that can be changed right now. She is in a deep sleep that will keep her within this state, she will not change. If you became too much trouble, then Karuki would use her against you. If not, and we fail before she confronts us sometime, then she will awaken, and used to help them, considering your sister is as powerful as you, however in dark magic. You got all that?"
I felt like fainting.
"I...think."
lets see..I have an evil sister I didnt ever know or here about, by ex-boyfriend is still alive, and he was using me all along-in which I might still have feelings for him, and it really doesnt matter anyways, and I now love Yoru, who could very well be lieing to me, or he could be completly infatuated with me, and be the most absolute perfect guy in this universe..(ok, Im exagerating a bit..but..) and I have to find them, in the process getting more powerful, and put the world back to normal,While possibly having to fight my evil sister that I'v never met..
No sweat. Yep, just your normal "its all up to me to save the world" story..
"Yea...I got it." I mumbled under my breath, still taking everything in. This was so confusing to me latley..everything was twisted, and flipped around. My life was all screwed up..but to make it more confusing, I think that I liked it. The mysterious adventure, experienceing my powers, learning about blood lust (not in the best way), love...everything was just so new to me, and exciting, however..dark.
It was like..my life went from normal to...well, I dont really have an exact word to explain it...it doesnt seem quite like my life now. I know I dont nessesarly have a normal life, being a mixed breed, and being a special breed, but still. My life was definetly never this twisted.
"So..what we doin' first then? Still getting me stronger?"
"Well, yea. we have to anyways..it bothers me though cause we dont have the time for it. Your gonna have to learn pretty quickly."
"I'll try my best." I grinned. I looked around, remembering that we were in the cramped bathroom. "And uh, you ready to get out of here?" Yoru took a quick glance, grinned, then turned around opening the door.
Every head turned to us as we both walked from the bathroom back to the table. I could feel my face getting hot,I really wasnt a huge fan of attracting complete attention. Oh well though. I took my attention from the beaming crowd, and back to Yoru.
"Im so sorry from keeping that from you Rin.."
"Its alright..." I had been kept from the truth so often now that it didnt seem to have much an effect anymore.Yoru still frowned at me.
"No, really! its ok...I know you were doing it to hold back some of my stress. Thank you actually, and you know that I trust you with everything."
Yoru's frown qucikly formed into a smile. "I know..and thank you. You know I wouldnt blame you if you didnt. And Im still sorry for everything in the past."
"I know.." My memory shot back for a moment, making me remenis about all the times he had hurt and lied to me. I grimaced, not wanting to think about it anymore. It hurt quite a bit still.
Yoru must have noticed my changed expression, and changed the subject. "So, head out of here after this, and try to get you stronger?"
"I guess.." I frowned thinking of killing more people just to get the experience and figureing out my powers. That was like useing them as ginny pigs...it just didnt seem right. I mean, I guess Yoru could try teaching me, but he didnt have an idea on exactly how everything worked. And I wouldnt want to practice on him, nor a practice dummy either. I wouldnt wanna hurt him..and the practice dummy wouldnt be prepareing me well. What else could I do?
