So how many times have we all been told that "THE ADMINS AND MODS WILL NEVER ASK FOR YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!!!"? Quite often. Also, that only official PMs from Gaia would come from anihq.com.
So to clear up some of the muck...
- Admins and mods will NEVER ask for your password for ANY reason.
Hotmail =/= AniHq official e-mails
Just because your friend says they're a mod hiding on a new name does NOT mean you should be giving them your password
Modship does not come from a random account, nor does it come from an e-mail. Only admins PM modship offers, and even then, it's ON GAIA, not through e-mail
How many times have I gone into QnA (randomly) and seen users claiming "OMG I WUZ HAKED!"? Well what did they do to get hacked, you ask?
"I got this pm and it seid i could b a m0d so i filled it out and now i cnat log into mai account!!!111!!!oen!!"
Smart move, dumbass. It even says, in bright red lettering, when you're replying to a PM, that you're not supposed to give your ******** account information out.
So you got hacked. Fill out the hack form, find a purple mod to suspend trade and vend, leave it for omnis to take care of. Case closed.

...Apparently not. Supposedly for these idiots, they have to fill out -multiple- forms to get their point across because, "OMG i wuz afreaid dat the m0dz didnt get the 1st oen!!"

Those harassment/abuse reports must be serious headaches, from what Malee was telling me when we had lunch at Todai's yesterday. Lots of them don't even have the proof of the harassment (links, screenshots, etc.), just some random he said/she said.
