After the beginning, there was a war in heaven. The light broke in half separating the red of light and black of darkness. Feathers of angels fell blood soaked to the dampened soil of heavens earth, without trace, without mind, certain angels felt betrayed by god.
Soon after God and the devil went their separate ways...
But poor Lucifer had fallen not only from grace, but the privilege he felt he so richly deserved. Finding the darkest place he could to brood about his misfortune, he fell deeper as the ink of time passed by.
He was so angry, that immediately he became careless. Allowing one of the number of sub-angels who had fallen with him to escape, it came to earth to hide.
And its name is Omerta, bringer of blood and shadow.
