"It's dinner time! To celebrate having Jay in our family we're going to a restaurant!" I announced.

"Or that's just an excuse for you not to cook," Scuppers snickered.

"That and because I can't cook well enough to put on a celebration, now can I?" I snapped, feeling a little bit irritated with Scuppers, "Okay everyone! With your jackets and out to a restaurant we go!"

The kids scrambled to get their jackets, but I presented a jacket to Jay since she was new. Pretty soon we were out of the house and out in the streets.

"Okay, what restaurant does anyone want to go to?" I asked.

"I want a place that's yummy!" Angela exclaimed as she limped along.

"It doesn't matter to me," Scuppers replied.

"What do you think, Jay? Any place you have in mind?" I asked her.

"Well... I've always wanted to taste Chinese food," she answered.

"Then Panda Restaurant we go!" I announced.

"I remember that one week we had take out from a chinese fast food service every day," Scuppers remarked, "But that was when I was an only child."

"Oh hush, Scuppers, that was a long time ago. Besides, who can get tired of Chinese food?" I replied.

"Me," Scuppers said.

"Sure," I said dryly, ruffling his hair.

"Do we get to see pandas in Panda Restaurant?" Angela asked me.

"Awww~ Sorry Sweetie but they don't have real pandas there. One of these days I'll take all of you to the zoo and we'll look at all the animals there," I promised.

"Yay!" Angela exclaimed.

"Why don't you invite Tomo, Zelf, and Mika to come along? Don't you want them to be here on your happy day of having a new child in "your way?"" Scuppers asked me.

"No! Because this is family time and since you kids don't get to invite anyone from school, then I can't invite anyone too," I told them.

Scuppers shrugged.

Pretty soon we approached Panda Restaurant.

"I can't wait to eat! Kyaaah~ Yakisoba here I come!" I replied happily.

We entered the restaurant.

"A table for five please," I said to the hostess.

"Sure, right this way," she said, and she took us to a nice table and handed us menus as we settled in.

"Found it! Chicken Yakisoba!" I said, "So what are your orders, kids?"

"I want combo #2 with Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, Eggroll, and a drink," Scuppers replied.

"I want to eat what Mommy has!" Angela said.

"Well you'll share with me then," I told her and then turned to Jay, "And what would you like?"

She set down her menu.

"The mongolian beef."
