No plot update for this month and I was not expecting one either, most likely it will be for October during Halloween, but guess that will have to wait for now.
This month only has one thing to talk about and that is the release of the long awaited Gaia Towns. Now the users can walk through a series of maps or zipcodes were users can interact with each other, explore and catch bugs. You heard right, a bug catching game was introduced to Gaia Towns were users after buying a net from Logan for 100 gold can move around towns and catch them, then the Bogies (bug depositing machines) save them for you. Currently the bugs have no purpose except for selling them for a bit of ''easy gold'' but they might in the future. Gaia fishing was the same at first, it was not until a month later that we could trade fishes. So I will just catch as many bugs as I can because I suspect the prizes will cost way more than 100 bugs of each type, since they are too easy to get. sweatdrop Also users can put their Gaia houses in one of the zipcodes of Gaia Towns, if there is space available I mean, because most of the time all the places are taken leaving the rest of the users waiting for a new area to be opened by the admins. My house is at Barton 3, zipcode 1110 if you want to visit my house 3nodding .
That is all there was for this month that left a lot to talk about, unless you may add the fact of the users expecting another plot update and not getting it. xp
But now Flux the reporter has some shocking news about other features and rants:
''The guilds were shutted down for a while this month since the admins were making some updates to them, after what seemed to be forever users broke in a fight demanding their precious guilds back causing all sorts of trouble. Other users wanted to leave their opinion that if it wasn't the guilds it was going to be Gaia Towns, users angry because it was not released yet. Basically there will always be someone unthankful people out there no matter how good things are, said an user who seemed disturbed by all the fighting''
''Posting have evolved once again thanks to the hard work of the administration, now we can post using several expression bubbles such as thinking, document, screaming, etc. And post a random number or roll the dice in our posts. Users find this to be another way to be random and others find it useful for gold earning contests and lottos, guess that will save them the trouble of using a randomizer biggrin .''
''OMG A TURTLE! eek Oh such a cute panda! heart They are here folks, the new September 2005 donation items. Users can choose between the cute Pandy Pack or the amazing Hard Shell Pack, this last one allows users using it to hide inside the shell like a real turtle for more concealing. ninja ''
Thank you reporter, you said it all. heart
Coming next month:
- Halloween plot, be the first to know with me so you can know all the details, hopefully I will attend this one too.
- Flux's second Gaia anniversary, that's right, it will be 2 years since I joined Gaia now. xd
- More? Guess we will have to wait.
Until next month dear readers. 3nodding
