Son's Only Wish
Making tears flow down my pale face in mourn.
You left me I was only a child.
My mother's heart bleeds and screams out in scorn.
Father the memories of you aren't filed.
I wish you stayed to fill that file cabinet.
We could have had such great times together.
Well I guess destiny was set.
In my mind you are there, you are a good sir.
Even though you left me to shed cold tears.
I will love you no matter what mom says.
When I get older I'll find you there some were's.
Wish we met in my younger child days.
As long as I get to see you some day.
My heart will ease and I will be okay.
