I don't know if you could call these fun, but they are really random facts about me. I dunno how to explain some of these, but I will to the best of my abilities.
1. My hidden talent: making random hentai noises when trying to gasp for breath. It usually happens when I'm running, or especially when I'm dueling or doing sports or exercise. The really interesting part is having people turn over and giving me that crazy look, as if they're expecting to see something uber perverted that's making me make those sounds. But no, it's my sheer action of gasping for breath. They give people too many ideas. @_@
2. I am fluent in three languages and teaching myself French. When I listened to God Help The Outcasts in French and French Canadian, I was instantly mesmerized. [THANKIES MARIKO-LOVE! x333] I decided to take up French. I use it from time to time, especially in poetry and other side things, but also to speak it. I think it's such an elegant language.
3. My mother's maiden name is Komatsu...which makes me giggle every time I hear it. I can't understand why.
4. I am addicted to Pocahontas. Please, just, don't ask. For some reason I can't et enough of that movie, though personally I am not as impressed with the real Pocahontas...dieing of small pox.
5. I have been called a guy before...but it was metaphorical. xDD I used to get a lot of "fame" [if you wanna call it that] by playing basketball with the boys, and a few girls told me that I was a guy in their book and thus idolized me...which disturbed me and yet gaveme pride later in life.
6. Since I was a child, I wanted to become a nun. I dunno where it came from, but I think celibacy was somewhere in the known reasons why. But you can be celibate and not be a nun, right? I think I was shooting for something in between.
7. I wanted to be an astronomer since I was six years old. That dream still lives on, though the dream somehow morphed when I realized that people can become astronomers without actually going through the entire process of college like doctors do with medical school and all that. The ironiy is that amateur astronomers seem to have quite a bit of luck with their findings. =)
8. I have a brother who looks almost identical to me, though he is actually two years younger. my youngest sister looks like a combination of him and me...but with a totally opposite personality. [SHE BITES! xD]
9. I'm fond of uniforms. While I'm typically not the first person to conform, depending on the situation, uniforms are the symbol of my yearning to actually conform. It's a hidden desire to become part of something. I love girl's uniforms, any country, any style.
10. I was once an exchange student in Britain and lordy did I learn. While England is a fabulous tourism place and has plenty of history [GLASTONBURY LOVE!] I learned how different cultures work. =)
11. Une bise is my optimal way of greeting. xDDD
12. I've only had really...two boyfriends, and both very short lived. I'm a self absorbed girl who really doesn't want anything to stop her path. The one thing that did, really changed her life.
13. My family is one of a kind. Very varied, eccentric, but at the same time, they do bring a lot of love. =D
14. The Disney heroine I look most like is Esmeralda. Except without green eyes. xDDDDD So, Esmerald with brown eyes and voila.
15. I used t be quite fond of reading; a lot of my old schoolmates can recall me being the nerdy little girl in the back corner reading the Harry Potter books over and over as if some miracle was going to happen any second. However, the reading phase declines when I developed a deeper interest in manga, and when I developed a lot of speed reading techniques.
16. Around the time that my reading declines, my writing soared. While people say you're either a writer or a reader, and I can clearly define that I am a writer, the two really help each other out. When you're a reader, you really get the chance to view different styles, learn new words, and skills, and basically you're reading stuff from a good writer. So yay! x3
I'll add more later. xD I'm sleepy.
