I'll write stuff here when I'm tired so I can look back when I'm awake and can laugh at it.
Food Fight
Food fights are a whole lot scarier than you think. Lucky me, I got to be in one today.

Today, (the one day I had to eat lunch with the eighth and ninth graders,) I sat at the end of the table I normally sit at with a couple other girls I didn't really know who also had to eat then instead of our normal time. The lunch room was so much louder than our time. There was this one girl who walked by and took off her jacket, the first of many. One told us that if we were wearing jackets, to take them off; apparently we'd need them. Soon afterward, I heard something about a food fight. I brushed it off, thinking no one would be dumb enough to try it. The principal, assistant principal, and several teachers were in there. We were seated right next to a door, so the girls around me said 'if there is a food fight, I'm jumping out that door.' Still, I brushed it off. Not ten minutes later, I see an arch of milk it the center of my vision. Out of the corner of my eye, there are red splotches everywhere. They were serving pasta, of course. Next thing I know, I'm among the first scrambling for the door. Once in the hallway, others burst through the door. Most had gone through the main doors, so I wasn't completely swarmed. The other girls somehow ended up around me, spots of milk on the thighs of their pants. I was scared, horrifed acctually, but they started to laugh, and I somehow laughed with them. I didn't have a drop of food on me, thank you reflexes. The halls were all crowded now. We were ushered outside, where we stood for over ten minutes in the cold wind. We saw the first girl who'd taken off her jacket with sause all over her back. Anouther guy had it all over his shorts. Others had flecks on their face and clothes.

We were finally called back inside, and everyone rushed to get in. I was near the door, in the middle of the crowd, when we just stopped moving forward. I barely noticed at first, but I did when the people in the back rammed into those in front of them, dominoing everyone into each other. No one fell, but it hurt and I didn't like falling into people I didn't know. They did it again and again until I was inside. Then I trotted forward a little faster to get away. I suspect the potential druggies, seeing as the huge mob of them was nearest the door, but they didn't go in before me.

I walked down the hall and decided that I didn't want to go back through the lunch room. But there two of my teachers, down the hall a little ways. Mr. McClain looked really, really angry. He was just glaring at everyone while leaning agaist the wall. Mrs. Starry was yelling at those who passed her, saying things like 'you should be ashamed for starting a fight! and such. I felt so ashamed walking past them, so very guilty. I went to my next class, without putting away my lunchbox for fear of being late to my next class where I expected Mr. Lawrence to lecture us. He said nothing about it. Wow.

During the time we were allowed to talk in class, in the halls, and from friends who saw the aftermath in the lunch room, I found out a ton of other stuff. Apparently, it was started by someone named Henry whom I don't know; that may not even be his name. The person who said it didn't know his last name, so I can't look it up. It did start with an H, though. My grade goes to lunch right after they do, so my friends saw the room. They said there was milk on the ceiling and sause on the walls. They also said that a whole area was blocked off. From class, I heard that someone saw the culprits in the office bawling. They were expelled (the second to last day of school.) Mrs. Starry apparently went to the art room, crying. Everyone wanted to congragulate the people who did it, other than the teachers, obviously. My mom works in an office for the kitchens far from our school, and she just called saying she knew about it. She said the teachers are really mad. If my friends had been there, I would've been very clingy and huggy. That's right Luke. Be thankful you weren't there.

That's bacically everything I can remember right now. I'll add more if I remember something. I hope it never happens again.

Mr. McClain has a MEAN glare...I've seen it thanks to my World Studies class...
Mr. Lawrence really didn't say anything?
I saw Mrs. Starry on the verge of tears in the lunch room while I was eating lunch.

Oh precious! Mommy's would've done anything to be there! I would have never let those smelly adolescence (I spelled it right!) scare you (More than usual) I woulda let you cling to me.

When Maggie told me you had to have 8/9th lunch I paniced. Maternal instincts made me hyperventalate(Probably didn't spell it right). I'm so glad you're okay and I'm sorry I left at lunch time! So glad you're safe.
