Immortality, sounds fun hu? We all want to live on, maybe not forever, but we all want to be remembered... Because we fear death. Even if we don't say we do, we fear death - being forgotten - our worst fear. Oblivion. That's what all "this" is about, isn't it? We want to say, "Look at this, I was here. I am, I was." I'm afraid too, of being forgotten. But then again, I recognize our own folly. We are so wrapped up in ourselves that we've lost sight of each other. We've become isolated by technology, its happening right now, and I think the only way to stop it is if we all take some time to remember who we are as a unit, as human beings.
If we do this we will not only find each other again, but we'll find enlightenment and peace. Imagine a world where everyone is not only conscious of themselves, but of their fellow man. What a world that we can live aware and at peace with everybody. That should be the future. Then what need would there be for fear of death?
