It’s hard, I think to find that every view and every judgement you’ve made about someone is shattered. And the kaleidescope you’ve being seeing through falls in forms of dust and pebbles through your fingers. You have no choice but to think and adapt to the new situation. You say and do things you’d never have done before. You find yourself afraid to get up to face the world, to See because this is new land. But then you find reason to open your eyes reason to look no longer through a falsely colored screen but instead through the naked eye.
and you find that it is not you who is afraid but the one who shattered your illusion. You realize that this person did not enact suffering, but instead granted freedom. Freedom to see what’s really there. Freedom to be strong enough to lend a helping hand to one who has fallen and can’t find reason to stand back up. You realize that it is all you can do not to pick that person up and tell them everything will be alright. It is all you can do, not to hold them, tell them you love them, and that you’ll be by their side always. And you tell them never to be afraid of your persecution.
It’s hard, I think to splinter a delusion
Truth should never be persecuted.
