if death is not eternal and we'd be together forever
would you let me go with you wherever you went.
follow behind you like a shadow.
next to you for all eternity.
happy to hold your hand forever and revel in the nearness of you.

sweet little angel, dancing from cloud to cloud.
surrounded by a dress of sunlight and baby rosebuds rest atop your head.
There on your chest for the world to see
A heartless shape revealing a blackened soul
Exposed for the world to see.
Sweetest little angel
Eaten away like a gingerbread cookie
The last on a plate
Just as God has commanded
Sinned against the immortality of the world
Crumbling like a rotten sweet.
A fruit left to turn black.
Skin peeling, flesh exposed.
Sweet little heartless angel.
Purest of them all.
Into the mouth of the beast.
Into the belly of hell.
Fire licking my skin.
I will venture into the belly, to the center to save your soul from the demonic dance that has enraptured you.
I will not falter.
in this dead paradise lurks a monster.
No grotesque features
No dripping fangs
No razor sharp claws
Just a reflection in the waterfalls.
This monster steals my face to play with my life.
Feeding its ravenous hunger.
Lusting on the life that has sinned since its birth.
Caressing flesh beading with sweat
Nibbling on the love or another’s heart
Swimming in the pools of deep eyes.
In this dead paradise the monster is king.
The monster is...me...
