So here is the conclusion to the retarded Anime LA....
Anime Los Angeles was probably the most magical thing when I was a kid, but it only ruined my convention experience and probably scarred me for life.
The only real things I could think of that were enjoyable was the way there, the Type Moon gatheirng, meeting my best friend's dad and having him join us, and the way back.
The masquerade was hell, completely stupid, pointless, and showed a true lack of effort withint he staff because they completely messed everything up. There was an enormous delay that should have never occurred, and there was way too many accidents happening around. It just felt stupid.
It was probably the worst convention I had ever been to since the lack of organization and formality had already deprived me of the passes I should have goten two months ahead of time. Still, I wanted to go, so I actually paid.
The area was small and repetitive, and cosplays seemed to lag terribly than ever. Only the usual gang brought some quality cosplays, but otherwise, most people just put on capes and cat ears and went off. Not that I don't mind, but the spirit and effort had just seemed to die.
Then, came Scavenger Hunt. Not only did it get cheaper, but the everything changed and it just seemed stupider. >_> The only real treasure I got from there was the ribbon that read, "RUSSIA," from our team. Otherwise, it was stupid.
The game room had been okay, and pretty good, and we even got lucky to change the Halo tournament times, but then it was all rigged and dumb and it really stunk that my friend lost to stupid n00bs. -_-
The Type Moon Gathering was small, but it turned out to be fun and great, yet all the people who promised on cosplay.com never came. -_-; So we lacked a lot, and I regret not bringing my Ortensia cosplay. That would have rocked.
....but the Masquerade ruined it all. What should have probably ended like...in an hour, took up three hours of my life. And I hated it and I don't think in the ened I regret saying that I don't ever want to go to Anime LA ever again.
That was just horrific, terrible, and I hated it. >_>
