Okay, I went to my school's dance (NOT on option. My mom forced me to go) with my friends, all of whom have Gaia accounts. When I got there, I at first recognized a buncha people I knew, but after that, I didn't recognize anyone. I went out into a hall that was brightly-lit and people weren't dancing in, and sat on the counter of the built-in concession stand. After a while, this kid (let's call him Joe) who was a friend of someone who was in my class last year (We'll call him Billy), came up and said "Billy wants to dance with you. He's in there *points to the cafeteria* and he is waiting. Please go dance with him." Then he wouldn't shut up about how he had known him since kindergarden. I was like, "If you're gonna lie, at least make it believable." But I thought to myself, if you're gonna lie, at least make it someone who's attractive in some way or other. Ya see, even though he's nice, Billy isn't exactly best-looking guy you've ever met, nor the most fun to talk to, because he and his friends talk kinda weird. It's not an accent, but the way they phrase their sentences is kinda different. Like, if you asked them a question, they will explain first, then say "yes" or "no". Example: My friend heard one of them talking at lunch, and all she heard was, "I am allergic to oranges: yes!" and he was serious. After some (a lot of) convincing, Joe finally got me believe that Billy had a crush on me. I never danced with him, though. Not because I don't like him, but because the closest relationship I could have with him would be like brother and sister.
