May 12: Today, I started a journal...
YEAH ME!!!!!!!!! rofl rofl rofl
I do however have something I'd like to say for today. I just got home from dance, and one of our numbers is to the song "I'm proud to be an America". The theme of our recital this year is newspaper. To make this song fit that theme, we're making "letters to the editor" and all of us get to record something to play over the song. World issues, and things like that.
I'm recording, "Open your minds America, we're all human." This is something that drives me crazy. Why is America, the country of opprutunity and freedom, so close-minded? Why can't people just look past, differences and see the things we have in common? There are so many things related to this that I could talk about. I don't have the writing skills to express what I feel on there strong topics.
But I will say this. Maybe not today, or tomorrow, but one day America is going to fall apart. Just think about your neighbor? If the world were falling, would you save them? And if not, why not? Maybe you couldn't, that's understandable, but f you could? With no cost on yourself other then taking so time? Would you still do it, or would their diffrences get in the way?
I don't want to lay blame, I'm not perfect myself. But I try to except anyone, and I think that if we all just tried, life would be easier. We're human and we can't help it, but they're human too.
