Fundies are Religious Christian Fundamentalists. These are the kind of people who think that the world really is only 2000 years old and believe evolution to be fake. Even though there's mountains of evidence against them, they don't see the "Light".

My older sister found a website that stands as a testament to how foolish these kinds of people are. "Fundies Say The Darnedest Things"

They go around collecting ridiculous quotes made by fundamentalists by all around the internet.

Here's my favorite:

"Gravity: Doesn't exist. If items of mass had any impact of others, then mountains should have people orbiting them. Or the space shuttle in space should have the astronauts orbiting it. Of course, that's just the tip of the gravity myth. Think about it. Scientists want us to believe that the sun has a gravitation pull strong enough to keep a planet like neptune or pluto in orbit, but then it's not strong enough to keep the moon in orbit? Why is that? What I believe is going on here is this: These objects in space have yet to receive mans touch, and thus have no sin to weigh them down. This isn't the case for earth, where we see the impact of transfered sin to material objects. The more sin, the heavier something is. "

.:: :/ ...I'm not entirely sure where to start...

Meh, I don't feel like debating right now.

But I will say this, you don't have to be a Christian to think the evolution theory is a load of crap. :/ I'm not. And I personally could never believe in something the founder of later denied. Just a thought.

And it really isn't appropriate to make fun of others. Even though I know a lot of people on the opposing view make jokes at the other's expense...you really shouldn't stoop to their level. :/

Yeah...I'm PINK and I can stand on ONE foot!
    ...I'd say I'm pretty GANGSTA

And when we meet, Which I'm sure we will, All that was there, Will be there still

Wow, that's pretty crazy. O.O

All religions have crazy fanatics in them too. As well as people who come up with ideas and start to believe in them weather they have a real basis or not. That one's kinda weird.

The whole idea that if we touch something sin will transfer to and from it is silly to me. talk2hand There was a lady who wouldn't touch things at grocery markets and what not because she was afraid someone sinful had touched it. But the thing is, to me, it has such little power that it can't really effect you even if there WAS something on it.

And as for evolution, Christians have come up with solid evidence to back up their beliefs. I don't remember what it was exactly though. I do know that they said evolution has a bunch of holes in it though, and they try to hide those holes from the public.

I'll let it pass, And hold my tongue, And you will think, That I've moved on
