Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to Szen's Portrait Gallery.
The artist is not currently taking new commissions, finishing up the ones I've got.

I will do avatar art or art of your original characters. However, I will not do fan art of someone else's characters, anthro/furry art, or--obviously--anything violating the ToS. I usually tend to do full body drawings. If you would like something different, please ask.

Samples and Pricing

20,000g - Single person portrait
30,000g - Couple portrait
5,000g - Add a simple background (basic color wash is free)

I'm currently only taking bribes. These take me too long to be worth the normal price at the moment. When I'm less busy with things outside of Gaia, I'll open it up again at normal prices. :3

Ordering

Steps:
1. Post your order in this thread using the order form below
2. Start the trade with Bagoi, my mule who will be handling commissions. Label the trade "Suites Portrait Request, Page __", filling in the page of this thread on which you posted your order. I'll add you to the list in the order that I receive your trades.
3. Give me a couple weeks to complete your portrait. It may take more or less time, depending on the size of the Waiting List and other things going on in my life.
4. I will send you a watermarked copy of your portrait for approval.
5. Confirm the trade.
6. When the trade is complete, I will send you the unwatermarked original portrait.

You must include an image of the avatar for which you want a portrait. Do not just tell me to use your current avatar. Save the avatar you want and upload it to an image site like Photobucket. If you just put a link to your current avatar and then you change it before I save it, I might not draw it the way you want. If this happens, I will not do it over.

Special instructions can include pose preference, facial expressions, description of the character's personality, background preference (adding something other than a basic color wash costs extra), items which must be included, etc. Some of the portraits I've done to look like the real person behind the avatar. If you would like me to attempt this with yours, please include a clear photo of yourself. I will make my best attempt to make it look like you, but results are not guaranteed. (-:

I reserve the right to refuse your order if your avatar is too cluttered. I also reserve the right to use artistic license and omit items or change things slightly. If there are things you absolutely wish me not to change or omit, please say so under Special Instructions.

Rules

1. My prices are not negotiable. Do not try to haggle or tell me I need to lower them.

2. Do not PM me to ask when your portrait will be ready. If your portrait must be delayed for more than 2 weeks, I will PM you about it and post about it at the top of this thread.

3. Make sure you have PMs turned on or I won't be able to send you your portrait.

4. When you receive your final order, please save it to your own server. I may remove it from mine at any time, so if you link directly to it, you'll lose it.

5. DO NOT take portraits that were not made for you.

6. If you cancel your trade at any time before receiving your final portrait, you will be removed from the waiting list permanently. If you absolutely must cancel for some reason but still wish to have a portrait done, you must let me know beforehand in order to not be blacklisted.

Quest

I am questing art myself! Call me a nerd. Call me a weirdo. Call me whatever you like. But I have a thing for Alexander the Great. I even made a mule for him. And I want art of him.

Here's what I'm looking for.

Alexander
I made his avatar blonde because it looked better that way. But I actually prefer dark hair and tan skin. He is Greek after all.

Like this. Here's more detail on the clothing if you want to draw that.
You can draw a plumed helmet if you like. I kind of like the horns of Ammon--as on the avatar but smaller--and a gold band or golden laurels. But feel free to improvise. :3
Please DO NOT draw Colin Farrell. He looks like a shaved monkey. x_x; And please ignore the vampire skin. If Alexander were a vampire, I would be his slave and would not be here to request art of him.

Bagoas
I love him too. I want to be him. Here's his avatar. Again, please ignore the vampire skin. He's Persian so adjust the skin tone accordingly.

Feel free to improvise on his costume as well. He looks somewhat feminine. He can be wearing eye make-up, various gold jewelry, etc. His hair should be long, black, and curly. His face should look similar to this.
