Go check out the SSBB site. The update is... very strange.
Now, there are a few theories for what this means. It seems to signify a story of some sort. Now, who broke the rules? It might be Mario, for bringing Kirby "back to life". It also might be whoever is in the Halberd in the background (most think it's a bunch of villains, such as Meta Knight, Bowser, and Ridley) interrupting the fight. Or it even could be the purple robot thing that appears.
The robot might also be the "ultimate price" paid for breaking the rules, whether that means that it is a powerful being or even that Mario turned into it as the price for breaking the rules.

someone suggested that every character will have his or her own adventure mode. the only thing that makes that likely is the halbred which as we all know is manned by Metaknight. mario was standing in the middle with kirby, wiki says that metaknight/kirby are more like rivals than enemies. so either meta knight is flying in with the halbred to help kirby against that purple evil sandbag looking thing, or theyre about to join the purple thing against kirby.
but thats just part of the intro video, i think. that one screen in the thick purple fog with the halbred coming in can be seen in one of the early videos IIRC.

I'm not really sure what it's about, but I think maybe the purple things can possibly turn you back into trophies perhaps. Someone's sending these things out, and it may very well be Metaknight. We won't really know until we get the game, or they decide to clear things up a bit on the subject.

http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/index.htmlholy crap, i had this freaky dream that the game released today, and it had something to do with this update. anyway, in my dream, the game sucked XD it was really buggy, and it was really weird navigating the menu's.
