was this interview new or old?
there was one interview on youtube that he did saw he was bringing zim back in 2008, but he said it sarcasticly.
(i have not yet seen this interveiw but many people have posted in the invader zim guild before about this and others have told them the claim was false.)

If this is his interview at the New York Comicon, then I remember him saying quite fervently that Zim is not returning. o.O

In his Livejournal? That's a pretty reliable place, but…
He hated making Zim by the end of it, you can tell, not only from what he's said in interviews and such, but also in the commentary to the Zim DVDs…
Even if Jhonen WAS willing to do more Zim, would Nickelodeon be willing to resurrect it? Remember, these are the people who think fart jokes and SpongeBob SquarePants are funny. Unless they've pulled their heads out of their asses and realized the extent of the Zimmy fanbase and target viewer group with the Hot Topic crowd, I doubt they'll think it's economically worth it.
It would be great if they sold the license to another company, but Nickelodeon is famous for being a bunch of tightasses, and probably won't (cause remember, kiddies, Viacom sucks!)…
Last, but not least, there is the fact that Jhonen loves to make us cry. It's one of his chief joys in life. So while I wish that Zim's returning was true, it's highly unlikely.

Aww....
Ok, new subject!
I have been working on a new set of *chibi* charcters for a comic I MAY be doing. It won't be like JTHM, although there will almost certainly be som sort of cameo or reference or tribute.I'm gonna bring the scanner down in a second to scan in some of my drawings...
Anyway, the comic will pretty much follow Me, Darkminno, and a new character named Squeeb through or random adventures. And don't say that I'm ripping the name of Jhonen. He has his own origin and reason for that name... He's an alien... BUT NOT IRKAN!!!!!! He is pale with no eyes (just eye sockets) and for some reason wears a T-Shirt.
