 In the center of a forest is a clearing. A giant area with no trees at all. Kindda convenient, huh?

((Ooooo~! Shiny Forest ^^))Alex walked through the forest, not really paying much attention to where he was going. Looking up, he noted the sun being blocked by the trees overhead, not minding it so much. He stopped by a tree, putting one hand on it as he coughed again a bit. He hated knowing that he no longer had a home. What's worse, he had no idea where Sasha was. Looking to his left, he spotted an edge that was almost perfectly straight; not something you'd want to fall down. He'd have to watch that.

Shin had taken off after lex, silently cursing how fast the guy was but mannaging to keep an eye on him and follow him, alex had led them into a forest of some sort, weird because he never rememberd their being a forest in elona.

Alex clenched his hand into a fist as he sensed a couple people nearby before setting off at a run again, not stopping at all. Right now, he didn't want to talk to anyone. True, Tohru's words had made him feel a bit better. But all-in-all, it would take much longer for his mental wounds to heal.

Shin cursed again watching alex take off at a full run, knowing he couldnt catch the boy at that speed. "Fine then, ill just walk after you untill I catch up to you lex, heh, turtle allways wins the race doesnt he?" shin said following after the boy though he was loosing sight of him.

Tohru stopped by Shin, watching Alex run off sadly. "And here I was thinking he'd felt better," he said. He may have taught the boy everything he knew, but he could never match the boy's speed. Alex stopped when he felt he was far enough. Looking back, he spotted no one there, but he still kept moving. He wasn't going to take the chance and get caught right now. . .not when he had things to think through.

"Heh, lex is trying to avoid us...probably so he can let loose but still..come on well just walk after him, maby by time weve caught up hell be okay again...then again I dont know for sure. Enzai..hes a cruel b*****d whatever he said to lex realy got to him...that plus his whole world just fell apart kinda...I was almost sure you were dead when I showed up, and hes been waiting to see you for years it seems" shin said following along the path.

"Heh. For a moment there, so did I," Tohru admitted, rubbing the back of his neck as he looked up at the sky. "I left Alex four years ago after I was sure he would be able to defend himself because I had some things to do. Finding out stuff about Night Fall was one thing. The other. . .well, that's going to be the one secret I'm going to keep." His face had a small hint of red as he thought about his travels but shook his head, stopping his train of thought. "What I'd like to know is why target Alex."

"Why lex? Cause hes a death magnet...serriously though...Enzais probably going after him cause hes my friend, and cause alexs life has been so happy this past year, and enzai cant stand it when others are happy" shin said shrguggin a little bit, he had noticed tohrus blush but decided to let the man keep hi secret. "Enzais gonna do whatever it takes to hurt as many people as he can"

"Yeah..that much" shin said just walking along beside tohru "Dont we all wish that...ive tried so many times...nothing ive ever done has worked though, every time lex gets close he just shuts down and backs off into his little shell" shin said shrugging a bit.

"And here I thought he'd improve even a little over time. Guess not," Tohru sighed, a little unhappy. Alex stopped by a tree, breathing a little heavily. A picture of the recent image of his house popped into his mind and he punched at the tree, a dent the size of his fist created in it. He sank to the ground, putting his head in his hands, small trickles of tears flowing from hi eyes.

"Heh, enzais minions are the bull dozer's, enzai is the guy who drills the little holes in the wall, plants the explosives and then stands a hundred feet away and presses the button, just watches everything go boom" shin said sadly as the two got nearer to the figure crouched down on the ground.
