Okay, so this Friday I am hosting a mini-tea party for my 2 friends, Jade and Danny, and I'm so confused! I definitely know that I will be serving mini sandwiches, and I have some tasty blueberries I wanted to use in a recipe, but I was unsure what for... I would also like some other recipes.

By the way, I am only allowed to be on my computer for an hour a day, so I'll make sure to check this as much as possible!

I would love it~ Does it involve using the over for more then 15 minutes? My dad hates it when I use it in the Summer for things like this, but I'm sure they could cook faster if I turned it up... sweatdrop

You should serve lemonade with sliced strawberries in the glasses. ^___^

You could make vanilla pudding from the box, put it in a prebaked pie crust, and use the blueberries as a topping. Or, eat them with vanilla bean, or french vanilla icecream. Parfaits (layered icecream with toppings in between) are really pretty, too.

I'm trying to think of things you don't have to cook to make. Fruit salads can be delicious. Is it possible to bake something in the evening, when it's cooler?

Yes, it's possible. I was going to make heart-shaped blue berry muffin bars this evening, just so that I don't have to worry about them tomorrow.

In a way, I am making a fruit salad. I found a can of crushed pineapple in the cupboards, and I have those blueberries, and bananas. I made some strawberry jello last night in a square pyrex pan, and it should be set by now, but I am going to cut them into cubes and mix the fruit in it. It should be tasty~ heart

And, then, I will be preparing some tuna with celery later tonight while I wait for the muffin bars to bake. I will slice the bread into hearts with my cookie cutter set, and then prepare the sandwiches about 15 minutes before my two guests arrive.

Danielle will be borrowing her mom's digital camera, and we shall take pictures~ heart Her mom will most likely upload them onto Kodak Friday evening, or even when Danielle gets home around 3 or 4. When she does, she'll send me the link to the album, and I'll share the link with everyone who wants it. heart I hope I don't cut any heads off... sweatdrop

Tankies. heart

I got the inspiration from the front of the box of the jello I used... Safeway brand always has nice pictures, and it was jello in cubes... I thought that was pretty cute, so I decided to do that. And, I have fruit. What more could someone ask for? sweatdrop

How did it go? I went to two parties this weekend, one of which I helped set up. My friend wanted jello, but neither of us knew that you needed to mix it twice as strong when putting it in a mold, so after we unmolded it, it slowly collapsed. My friend concluded that we'd make bad 1950's housewives, and the neighbors would all dislike us for not being able to make good jello. But, the party was fun.

It was pretty fun. After we had lunch and tea, we went for a walk to Jade's house, and we three eneded up at Border's somehow... sweatdrop I was still in my lolita clothes, so I got some perverted stares from these creepy guys in the manga section... crying

I will ask Danny to upload the photos soon~ We didn't take too many pictures, only because we got very distracted... sweatdrop

I think I would make a bad 1950's housewife, too... I'm too lazy to clean the house... sweatdrop

That's why you hire a maid, and a nanny, and become a victorian wife, instead. XD

I fully agree~ heart

Still no updates on the photos. Sorry, everyone. I will try to get ahold of her sometime soon, seeing as the time difference has made it hard to talk to my friends... crying
