 Madam Rosmerta, a beautiful and kind lady, also the owner of The Three Broomsticks, welcomes you in with a smile. You may seat yourself in one of the booths lining the walls, or at a round table about the room. Some of your favorite drinks are here, including Madam Rosmerta's famous homemade butterbeer, served hot or cold to your liking. You can also order from gillywater, pumpkin juice, strong mulled mead, and cherry syrup with soda garnished with a tiny umbrella. The atmosphere is lively and friendly, patrons talking excitedly and sipping butterbeer, and students recalling anecdotes to one another in booths.

Stella walked in eith Tristan "I can't believe no one else wanted so come into town." She smiled looking over at him as she took a seat.

Tristan walked in with her, and was looking around as she said something. He was slow to repspond, but acted like he didn't know what she said, "Oh, I know." He spirted a small laugh.. He walked around a bit, "It's been a while since I've been here." He looked over at a booth seat in the corner, "Wanna sit over there?" He pointed to the booth.

Stella smioled and nodded looking up at him "Yeah sure thing... So... no ones around... It's kinda nice in a way" she grinned following him to the corner seat.

Tristan smiled and nodded. He sat across from Stella. He waited for someone to take their order. "So.." He started. "Back at the lake.. I heard you mention your father in a very strange mood." He paused, "What's going on with you and him?"

She looked down "I haven't seen my father since I was five... even then I don't really remember him Much. You see When I was five my mother discovered that he was a follower of the dark lord, or had been... It's a little complicated, but needless to say He's in Azkaban now, and believes me, my brother, and my mother to be dead" she shrugged "I just Don't like him, he was a cruel man."

"Oh man.." Tristan said with wide, concerning eyes. "I'm so sorry.." He looked away from her, "I don't understand how people can be like that." He clenched his fists, but not so Stella could see. "To be so disguised. Raising a family, while serving, you-know-who.. It just doesn't make any sence." He looked up at her, "You don't deserve any of that."

"It's over with now... He's in Azkaban... He's going to Die there, and I'm living peacefully with my... well recently with my brother since my mum has had to take care of my grandmother" She smiled reassuringly at her. "It's nothing serious... I'm happy with the way my life is right now, and I have no fears of it's future." She looked at him "But thanks for the concern. at times her voice caught and it was easy to tell it was still a rough subject for her to talk about.

Tristan smiled friendly. And didn't really know what to say. He sat across the table, with his arms crossed on the table. He looked around, I wonder who is going to wait on us.. He thought to himself. He sat there until something popped into his head to talk about, or until Stella said something.

"So.. .What about your family Tristan.... Anything unexpected there?" she smiled. Not meaning to sound mean, rude or anything of the such if that was how she had come off. She was just curious. Heh, Curious could be classified her middle name if it wasn't already Lyra.

Tristan shrugged, "Eh, not really. I have a mom and dad, and a little sister. She will be coming here in two years actually." He paused, "Well, my parents are married, and we are all happy." He felt bad, "I don't know, we really don't have many problems where I live.." He tucked his hands between his legs, "Just a normal family, I guess. Aside all the magic and whatnot." He laughed slightly, and then straightend up. He put his head down, for probally making her feel worse.

He looked up, glad that she was okay with it, and answered her, "Oh, I'm a fifth year." He nodded, and then asked, "I don't think I ever asked you either. What are you?"

"Seventh huh?" He nodded, "It think that's the first time I've ever liked a girl older than me." He laughed nervously, but smooth.
He saw a waitress come up to the table, finally. "What will you be having today?" He looked up at the waitress with the menu in his hands, "I.. will have whatever she is having." He looked over at Stella with a stupid big grin, waiting for an answer.
