I didnt see a thread like this so I thought I would start it! Who here uses a Japanese Persona at SCA events?

Well... ok, there's about five of us, plus a few chinese personaes....

Cept last year at first contact. XD EVERYONE was Japanese. That was fun. >w<

I do! And here in Three Mountains/Terra Pomeria area of AnTir there are 5 others (+Scott whos a butthead and moved to Fla) who have Japanese persona's. They are all in or affiliated with The Drakkenguard too LMFAO.

Look in any kind of book from like... the heian age.

Like mine is Fujiwara no Hikari-dono, and I got that from Tale of Genji.

Tale of Genji and The Pillow Book are wonderful resources.

They might. I mean, it is after all, a classic. Like as classic as it comes. If they sell "Candide" by Voltaire, they're bound to sell Tale of Genji.

I do. I still don't have a name though. People still address me by my old persona's name, which isn't bad. I my keep it a have some sort of Japanese half-breed persona to explain the completely non-Japanese name.
